Yoshi’s restaurant is our go to place whenever we have a show to catch at Yoshi’s Oakland. Good Japanese food and excellent service every time.

Overall, we had a wonderful time and the food was delicious. Changes in the menu ( substituting wasabi mashed potatoes for bok choy, really?!) caused an eyebrow to raise, but that was about it.

What a wonderful experience we had! The food was delicious and the ambience was just right. The Customer service was great! The showroom is an intimate setting. I would highly recommend!!

Excellent, I've never been disappointed by the food, service or ambience of the restaurant, and considering the quality overall I think their prices are reasonable, and unlike some other cities I don't feel gouged afterward by paying for the validated parking in the seemingly safe enough, clean and well-lighted parking garage. As for the music, Yoshi's is the best intimate venue by far in the S.F. Bay Area, every act they books is top notch, and the sound quality in there is superb regardless of where you sit. Normally it's difficult for businesses to coax even faint praise for me, so for me to take time out to write a glowing review means A LOT. Trust me.

We haven’t been to Yoshi’s in a while, we wanted to go have a nice dinner but found the quality of the food lacking. The calamari rings we very small, I’ve never seen such small rings before, which is why it seemed like it was mostly batter and chewy which usually means frozen. The California roll and the Fire roll were both lacking flavor and the avocado was dark, we almost sent both back.during the email we have two different servers introduce themselves as our servers and they were both pleasant but we never saw a manager around. We expected better.
