Das familiengeführte Restaurant wird seit über 50 Jahren betrieben und folgt dem Beispiel des klassischen Restaurants Vallozzi's in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. Es verwendet frische, hochwertige Zutaten sowie italienisches Fleisch und Käse, die jede Woche aus Italien eingeflogen werden. Die umfangreiche Weinkarte bietet viele offene Weine und Flaschenweine. Hier gibt es Platz für intime Dates, Familienessen und Geschäftstreffen. Größere Gruppen können im Bankettsaal bewirtet werden. Alternativ genießen Sie einen speziell gemischten Cocktail und einen kleinen Happen im Barbereich. Das Vallozzi's eröffnete vor über 50 Jahren, als Helen Vallozzi hausgemachte Pasta von Zuhause aus verkaufte. Helen eröffnete ein paar Jahre später ein Restaurant mit Speisen zum Mitnehmen in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, woraufhin sich ihre Popularität explosionsartig steigerte. 1977 verlegte Ernie Vallozzi das Lokal seiner Mutter nach Greensburg, wo es bis heute betrieben wird. 2012 dehnte Ernies Sohn Julian die Tradition in der Innenstadt von Pittsburgh aus.

We had a great experience at this restaurant! First you get bread with whipped ricotta and olive oil. For an appetizer we got the meatballs and they were amazing. We both got the rigatoni alla vodka. I liked mine with the Italian sausage. Our server was Anthony and we loved him! Would recommend this place for a more relaxed date night.

I had reserved a Bar Table for two on a Saturday night one month in advance. Upon arrival, there was a note posted on the door indicating the Lounge / Bar was closed due to a private event. I had not been contacted by the restaurant regarding this change to our reservation. Upon entering the restaurant, we noted the Lounge area was empty and inquired at what time the private event was scheduled for. which turned out to be one hour from our arrival time. That being the case and our first time there, I asked if we could enjoy a quick cocktail in the Lounge prior to our meal, which was declined. At that point we were offered a table, and we asked to have a look at the seating arrangements as we had not been before. We looked at a couple of tables we didn't quite like the location of and finally found one off to the side. I left my seated wife for a couple of minutes to have a look at the bar, and upon my return she indicated one of the servers had abruptly approached her while reading the menu and caught her off guard. My wife then heard the server indicating to someone that she had responded rudely, which was not the case. We ordered appetizers of meatballs (ok) and Arancini (very good) along with a meal of crab cakes (good) and gnocchi (good). The experience felt rushed and was not to our liking, unfortunately we will not return.

Food was excellent. We went over Valentine’s Day weekend so the menu was limited. Our waiter was excellent as well with recommendations. Definitely overpriced, but knew that going into it.

Overbooked for Valentine’s Day. Tables were packed dick, so the romantics factor was gone. Ran out of free bread when we got there. Limited menu for Valentines. Wouldn’t recommend on a holiday. Usually very good, don’t know what happened here.

First let me start by saying we have had consistently good experiences at this restaurant. David provided excellent service for Valentine’s Dinner. The cocktail that was chocolate and strawberry flavored should be kept on the regular menu! I had short ribs and my husband had seafood risotto and both were top notch! I ordered bread pudding and my husband had the tiramisu and once again top notch! I have one complaint around the buffalo mozzarella caprese…not sure it was Buffalo cheese as the texture on Buffalo is spongier but the most important issue was the 5 small baby tomatoes that were overripe. A good caprese has a solid slice of tomato to match the mozzarella slice. Also, a balsamic drizzle adds the final perfect touch and that was missing too. I definitely would not order that again. It was almost the perfect dinner!

Was very disappointed service was slow never got bread. Chicken Parmesan seem to be reheated. Was not fresh Vallozzi quality.
