Das Tutti Matti serviert Ihnen traditionelle, authentische toskanische Küche mit ausschließlich frischen, saisonalen Zutaten. Alles wird direkt im Restaurant hergestellt, einschließlich des frischen Brotes und der Nudeln. Einige Gerichte werden permanent von der Küche angeboten - Gnudi, Pinci, Papardelle, Tagliatelle. Andere sind dagegen saisonal erhältlich, wie gefüllte Zucchiniblüten im Sommer und Polpetta und herzhafte Suppen im Winter. Vom ersten Tag an wurden Wild, Wildschwein sowie Schweinswürstchen mit Fenchel serviert. Darüber hinaus werden köstliche Schalen mit Antipasti hergestellt, die saisonal und täglich wechseln (und manchmal sogar während des Service!). Entdecken Sie eine große Auswahl an italienischen Weinen, die sorgfältig ausgewählt wurden, um zu den Aromen und dem Geist der toskanischen Küche zu passen. Das von den Kritikern gefeierte Tutti Matti erhielt sowohl regionale als auch nationale Auszeichnungen, darunter im Jahr 2009 der renommierte "Leccio d'Oro" für die Osteria des Jahres (eine Auszeichnung, welche zuvor Mario Batali und Alain Ducasse verliehen wurde). Das Restaurant liegt in der Innenstadt von Toronto, nur wenige Schritte vom Theater und den Unterhaltungsvierteln entfernt.

I was expecting a little more given the recommendation from a foodie friend. Unfortunately on this night, I think the restaurant missed on a few areas. Food was mediocre at best. The eggplant meatballs should be renamed "basil meatballs" because that is all that could be tasted. The pizza was good (just would recommend less oil, more crunch in the middle). Pastas were good but not worth the price. Waiter could have used a little more congeniality. Had to be reminded twice to check on a food allergy for a few items on menu and then served a nutty biscotti on the side of my coffee after I clearly said I was allergic. Sitting by a doorway on a cold night, also not appreciated. We froze everytime the door opened. I realize that not a lot can be done on this issue but at least bring up the service aspect to compensate. Not sure we'd be back. Big foodies looking for a little more from such a renowed chef. Sorry. :(

Surprisingly Toronto’s only shrine to Tuscan cuisine, but maybe not so surprising since how could any chef possibly interpret the regions dishes better than Chef Alida? Superlative pastas, of course, but a meal of antipasti and a shared bistecca would also be a smart exploration of the menu.

Very good food and service! The menu has authentic Tuscan dishes and revised Tuscan dishes with a touch of glamour and the result is incredible

We went to Tutti Matti as part of the Winterlicious 2025 event. Having driven past it before, I was curious and wanted to see what the menu was like. The fixed-price menu did not disappoint. My starter was the Porchetta, which was well-seasoned. For mains, I had the Pappardelle and for dessert was the Torte di Ricotta. All courses were phenomenal!

We visited Tutti Matti during Winterlicious and ordered the prix fix menu. It was fabulous! We each ordered something different so I can confidently say that everything on the menu was delicious. The quality of the food is outstanding. One is aware that everything is fresh and best quality. The servers were friendly and helpful. Our guests remarked that they found the ambience lovely and comfortable. Tutti Matti never fails to satisfy. We particularly enjoyed it last night and highly recommend it to others!
