Das Traxx Restaurant und die Traxx Bar liegen in der schönen, historischen Union Station in der Innenstadt von Los Angeles. Wir sind ein Gourmetrestaurant mit einer ungezwungenen, entspannten Atmosphäre. Unser Restaurant bietet von Montag bis Samstag gut durchdachte und präsentierte amerikanische Bistrogerichte zum Mittagessen (10:30 bis 14:00 Uhr) und Abendessen (17:00 bis 21:00 Uhr). Nehmen Sie Platz in unserer Halle (vor dem Restaurant in der Union Station), dem Speisezimmer und auf unserer Außenterrasse im Innenhof. Wir bieten eine Entwertung von Parkscheinen unserer Gäste für 2,5 Stunden im Lot B, Lot D oder Valet Parking. Die Traxx Bar liegt über der Halle der Union Station am Haupteingang.

Union Station has two lots off Alameda St. (Lots B and D) which charge $2 per 20 minutes or $14 for 24 hours (subject to change). There is also valet parking available. If lots B and D are full and valet is full, alternative parking can be found in Gateway Parking. Take Alameda Street to Cesar Chavez and go east to Vignes Street, turn into parking lot. Gateway Parking charges $2.00 for 20 minutes or $6.00 for 24 hours. We validate only for Lots B, D and Valet (up to 2.5 hours).
Public transit
We stop serving food at 8pm, however our bar is open until 10pm. We close the restaurant at 8pm and ask patrons to move across to the bar area if they wish to stay. We are located inside Union Station, near the Alameda Entrance...the Red, Purple, Gold & Amtrack & Metrolink all stop here. Our bar is by the front doors, the restaurant is across the hall just past the Information Booth. We validate Lots B, D & G for $3/vehicle. Those lots are located on the West side of the station near Alameda. There is also a huge lot off of Vignes, we do not validate, but it is $8 max/all day. It is about a four minute walk to the restaurant from there.

I had a reservation for 8 for a business lunch. When I got to the restaurant, it was closed due to a special event. We ended up sitting in the bar across the station and the bartender took good care of us. A call that my reservation would not be honored would have been nice…

Traxx offers good value for the money in an historic setting amid the vaulted ceilings of LA’s Union Station. The companion bar across the way makes good cocktails. They are open 11 to 8 and Traxx is for lunch or an early dinner.

Traxx is listed on some sites as an "elegant restaurant" it is not. Has potential but is basically a quick bite type of situation. Menu is rather limited in fine food choices, and seating is that of a fast food joint. Location is great and service is pretty nice. Could be so much more.

Wonderful intimate space in Union Station. Diverse menu. We had Cobb Salad and the Grilled Cheese sandwich and Tomato Basil soup. All were excellent. Service was excellent

I love Traxx! Fine dining at Union station. We sat outside and had impossible burgers. Which were great. The patio seating was lovely and our server was kind and friendly.

When we arrived at 7pm which we had booked though open table the waiter said they were closed! When I said we had booked a table at 7pm he said ok and showed us to a table and it does state that the kitchen closes at 8pm The Mac & cheese was more Mac than cheese!

First time at Traxx, although I’ve been to Union Station many times. Traxx is located near the historic ticketing lobby as well as the current seating area for those in between train connections. The food was excellent and the server was attentive and pleasant. We weren’t travelling but came to see Union Station and experience the historic vibe over lunch. Great experience!

The patio seating was nice and it was fun to eat at Union Station, but overall we had a poor dining experience. To begin with, my daughter and I both ordered draft beers. After 10 minutes the waiter informed us they were out of those beers, so we ordered different ones. After a long delay, the waiter came back to tell us that they were out of those ones too. By that time, I just gave up on the beer. My daughter and husband ordered ahi bowls. When the dishes were served, they just looked like a small salad. Turns out there was something missing- there was no fish. The chef had forgot to include the ahi in the ahi bowls! So there was another very long delay as the ahi was prepared and delivered to our table. I was already done with my meal by the time my daughter and husband got theirs. On the plus side, my tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich was very good. And the waiter felt very bad about all the delays and mishaps, so he discounted our meal.

I love the history of this place! The food was good. Our server was a bit slow and the drinks were a little expensive. But overall, an enjoyable evening
