Diese Bar wurde mehrfach für 'San Francisco Best Happy Hour' vom San Francisco Magazine, dem San Francisco Bay Guardian und in jüngster Zeit vom Where Magazine ausgezeichnet. Der Tonga Room bietet außergewöhnliche polynesische Küche in tropischem Ambiente, das auch Donnergrollen und Gewitter umfasst. Es ist die perfekte Auszeit nach einem anstrengenden Tag voller Meetings oder Shopping am Union Square. Probieren Sie auf alle Fälle die Mai Tais, die von Conde Nast Traveler zu den besten der Stadt erkoren wurden. Reservierungen werden nur zum Abendessen entgegengenommen.     We had so much fun! The food was incredible. I highly recommend the salmon. Service was amazing and loved the entertainment and decor. Highly recommend!

    The ambience and environment is amazing. The band and service was amazing. Everything was awesome. Food is selection and taste is decent, but the everything else was amazing!

    We really enjoyed our experience. The entire staff we encountered were kind and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious, fresh and served promptly. We also enjoyed the live band, very talented group.

    We really enjoyed the ambiance and atmosphere of the Tonga Room. The room, pool, thunderstorm all exceeded our expectations. Despite the reviews we read about the food and drinks only being average, we found them to be very good! The food price was very reasonable for the city. The wait staff was excellent. The entertainment was so-so. But be prepared for the other costs. We live outside the area and it happened to be a very stormy night, so we used the hotel parking. $75 parking, $15 musical entertainment cover charge per person, and $25+ drinks.

    I'd heard about the Tonga Room for ages, but had never been. We went there before a show at the Masonic Auditorium. Great food, great service and great ambiance. Love the pool that serves as a Polynesian Lagoon, and the intermittent "rain storms." Food prices were similar to others in San Francisco these days -- dinner entrees from $28 to $44 dollars. Good variety of appetizers. Service was quick. Drinks were festive and fun. Would go again. It is a fun place! It's best if you can make a reservation.
