   The food was phenomenal! The beans and rice dish was delicious, and the lemon dessert was a 10/10. The drinks were great, and the service was good. The manager checked in on us and was very attentive. My only suggestion is to inform customers when last call is. We made a later reservation since we live in Pacific Time, so we dined toward the end of the evening. I definitely recommend this restaurant—it’s a Buckhead staple!

   Had a delightful evening dining alfresco. Food was excellent and Austin took great care of us all night. I would highly recommend to friends

   Better for dinner. Brunch was just ok, no biscuits or cornbread. Service could have been better. Our waitress was very pleasant but probably could have used more help.

   Wonderful restaurant that puts a spin on Southern tradition. The food is tasty and well seasoned. Some dishes weren’t as hot, but they all were good and portioned well. Appetizers: Fried Green Tomatoes, nicely fried with a good crunch and has a sweet taste with a brown sugar/maple coating. Didn’t care for the pimento cheese as much (8/10); Gouda Mac and Cheese is great. Thick and cheesy, no complaints (10/10). Entree’s— Buttermilk Fried Chicken, 2 boneless thighs (for my dark meat lovers). It comes boneless and is fried well, not greasy. The Sweet Potato Cornbread is a favorite, tastes like a moist cake. The collard greens are smoked, so if you don’t like a powerful punch of flavor it might not be for you. The atmosphere is intimate, but slightly noisy depending on the crowds. The lighting is very dim in the evening, so needed a flashlight to read the menu. Staff emphasizes “Southern hospitality” and will treat you like family and with respect. Great service overall.

    We both got salads and the protein was extremely dry on both salads.
