   Belangloses Restaurant. Fleisch OK, aber keine besondere Qualität. Gemüse steinhart, lieblos und geschmacklos. Dieses Lokal könnte in Europa nur ganz schwer überleben.

   The noise was the only complaint I have. The tables in the restaurant were loud and raucous and more than half our conversation was silenced because we didn’t want to shout to each other to be heard right across the table - and we were in a quieter upper area. The lower area tables were shameful. The servers looked uncomfortable with the noise as well, straining to hear orders but remained professional and courteous. It would be nice if people were cautioned about their behaviour/noise level. It has gotten steadily worse recently when we have dined here, and it did impact the birthday dinner we were celebrating (while respecting those around us.) No fault of the restaurant, but I would encourage the management to maybe check in with guests about how they feel with noise levels when it is obviously bar level. We won’t be back anytime soon despite the excellent food and exceptional service; it really did ruin the evening.

   The hostess “greeted” us in a really weird rude way something like “why are you guys coming in here?” And we had a reservation so it made us feel unwelcome. Our server was very nice. But there was a hair in our food and we brought it up. She did bring us a new order but I’m Fairly certain it was the exact same one. So we just inspected it and ate it anyways. No manager came over to apologize and nothing was done about the hair. I’ve worked in the service industry for many years and a customer finding hair in their food is pretty unacceptable. I would have expected the order to be replaced yes, and some other sort of compensation because it really does throw off the entire experience. Especially from an establishment like the keg. Overall the experience was not great.

   Started off well with good and friendly description of menu. Drinks and order taken in reasonable time. First two meals arrived (both were ok). 3rd was delayed and server said he forgot they had run out of prime rib. We weren’t thrilled but I decided to share with the others at the table and wasn’t too hungry so I didn’t take the suggestion to consider steaks instead. Moments later another server shows up with a prime rib dinner saying he “saved the day”. Unfortunately it looked like it had been done in a hurry…perhaps thawed by microwave. It didn’t look like the normal prime rib - didn’t look fresh - and was undercooked (I had requested medium). Broccolini was cold. I didn’t make a big deal but did give the server feedback re both the good meals and the poor one. Hope this was conveyed back to management.

   Everything was excellent, from the greeter at the door, the hostess who took us to our table and our server. The food was outstanding and the service was even better. We’ll be back!

    Last time I came to the keg, the season feature food was fantastic. The environment and service were perfect! This time still really good and professional while I didn’t see something special like lamb or duck. I highly recommend the matcha drink as the special! Next time I am exciting to see some different:) Thanks!
