Das historische Gasthaus aus dem 14. Jahrhundert wurde nach einer umfangreichen Renovierung Ende Mai 2014 wieder eröffnet.     Hi Richard, Many thanks indeed for taking the time to leave a review, I'm sorry your visit didn't live up to expectations. The chicken Kyiv is probed and does always reach temperature, so I can assure you was thoroughly cooked, and we'd have happily replaced it had we been made aware when we did the checkback. I'm glad the server took it off the bill without question as you weren't completely satisfied though. You were seated promptly with a view of the river as requested, served promptly and the meal taken off the bill so please do let us know what we should have done to improve our service score. It's difficult from a management perspective to see how we could have done things differently, so your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Kind regards Ian Wright, General manager

    We changed our reservation three times and every time we’re met with quick efficient positive responses. On the night Mike the manager went above and beyond to give us a really special evening. They were super busy but everything was fast and good. The food was delicious I had the Kiev and big portions to boot. Go there now! It’s superb. Thanks Mike.

    Very welcoming and efficient service. Food was good as was the Gruner Veltliner!

    Lovely laid put restaurant and bar areas with cosy corners. Fantastic views of the Thames. Scrumptious food and our waitress was e tremendous attentive and helpful. Enjoyed this visit immensely.

    The waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. The Sunday roast was excellent and as always the City Barge delivers on location and view.
