Stable Café is open daily from 11AM to 2PM for guests of Biltmore Estate.

Satisfy your appetite for house-smoked meats, Carolina barbeque, grilled burgers, and other southern favorites in a historic setting that was once the estate's horse stable.

Biltmore tickets or an annual pass are required to visit all restaurants on the estate. For seasonal evening events, dinner reservations for all the guests in the party must have an evening-specific ticket or be an estate lodging guest. Dinner menu is a three-course, prefix menu.

The convenient location next to Biltmore House, friendly hospitality, and delectable food make the Stable Café a popular stop after visits to the house and gardens. The ambiance of the historic surroundings in the renovated stable complex is unmatched.

    Stable cafe at Biltmore has been consistently reliable for us. Good food, lovely setting, solid service, and more. We split the generously large chicken salad sandwich and chips. Delish!

    Tasty food in an historic and rustic stable building at the Biltmore Estate. Somewhat noisy but friendly and helpful staff. Seating in the old horse stalls is rather cramped.

    We were greeted and had a wonderful lunch in one of the stalls with our granddaughter I thought it extra special that the hostess brought over an information sheet that i was able to read to our granddaughter about the history of the stable

    The restaurant was nearly empty because it was a slow day at Biltmore, but I enjoyed the relative solitude. Donna, my server, gave me just the right level of attention. The Stable Cafe has the best chicken salad sandwich I’ve ever tasted.

    Lots of great menu options! We got the blackberry lemonade which was the perfect balance between sweet and sour. I had the soup of the day which was roasted red pepper tomato bisque and the winter harvest salad. Both were very good! My husband got the burger and fries and enjoyed his meal too.

    The menu has such a good variety that I always have trouble deciding which entree to get. Ingredients are very fresh, many of them locally sourced. Everything we had today was excellent. Terrific service by Terri made it even better. We highly recommend The Stable Cafe.

    Lunch was very tasty and our server, Donovan, was wonderful! The downsides were that we were sat near the kitchen which was very noisy when the rest of the restaurant was empty when were seated and the prices are a bit inflated.

    Very nice host seated us and a very pleasant waitress served us. Food was great and came in a timely manner. Overall a great experience!

    Stable Cafe always has great food. The service was very good. I enjoyed the burnt ends brisket and Mac and cheese. It was an enjoyable lunch. We’ll be back soon!

    My favorite place to eat. I have enjoyed so many meals here. The food is awesome, and eating in the stable area is so much fun. Just think this place is over one hundred and twenty five years old. So well maintained!
