Smith’s Bar & Grill is nestled in Paddington, London, it is the first place you see when you walk under the bypass behind Paddington Station.

Known for its high ceilings and almost full-length windows, the natural light in Smith’s is just as nourishing and wholesome as the comfortable furnishings and exquisite selection of food and drink that we serve.

The venue is split into the areas:
• Main Restaurant
• Main Bar & Lounge Area
• Outdoor Terrace Canal-side

Smith’s is an ideal venue for weddings, on-location filming, major launch events, and multi-stage music and entertainment events.
The whole venue can comfortably accommodate up to 200 people for a sit-down dinner and up to 400 standing. Its proximity to Paddington Station (50 yards from the Hammersmith & City Underground entrance) makes it quick to get to for those coming from out of town.

Our roasts are perfect to share between 2 people. Choose from delicious 28 Day Matured Chateaubriand, mouth-watering 10 days matured Lamb Leg, Whole-Roasted Poussin, Pork Belly and more all served with delicious trimmings: Roast Potatoes, seasonal Roast Vegetables, a homemade Yorkshire pudding & gravy. Bottomless wine such as Portuguese Cintilla and Argentinian Malbec for 90 minutes can be added on for as little as £15 & £25pp.

Service zunächst gut. Zum Dessert hin aber sehr lange Wartezeit bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Hoffentlich ein Einzelfall. Ansonsten gut und schmackhaft.

Viel zu teure Preise für das was man bekommt. Service ist zwar sehr gut und zuvorkommend aber dennoch waren wir von den Speisen sehr enttäuschend. Hähnchen verbrannt, Speisen sehr klein.

Imagine a great location by the beautiful canal of London Paddington Basin with a great restaurant. Don't miss. The Sunday roast is to die for. Superb food. Wonderful wait staff. Dynamite environment. You will not find a better restaurant in all of Britain. And one of the best casual restaurants in Central London, 10 min walk from Kensington gardens. Highly recommend!!!!

Our somewhat large group of breast cancer survivors just met here for brunch, first time. The food was excellent with a range of selections from fresh salads to calamari. The eggs Benedict was fluffy and delicious and the parmigiana exceptional. The atmosphere was superb with a lovely DJ playing some real good vibes. The waitstaff were very accommodating. They left us alone to talk amongst ourselves but were also attentive and swift with our orders. I hope it's not appropriate of me to say -- they were all very attractive too! Great restaurant in Paddington, especially if you like to take a walk by the canal after brunch.

Great venue and value for money, food was delicious. Service from the waiter was not great, therefore we removed the service charge. Everything else, perfection, including music from the saxophonist! Definitely, would recommend to all of my friends.

Smith's bar and grill is a great little British restaurant in Paddington Basin. The place is full of eclectic decor. The staff are all super friendly and very welcoming.They have great space at the back. You can also get the full menu at the bar. The food is outstanding and the menu is as eclectic and interesting as the surroundings. The steaks are phenomenal.

Do you want delicious, mfood in a welcoming restaurant atmosphere in Central London? This is the place, just by the canal in Paddington. I love the small plate options . The baby chicken was best I've ever had. Steaks was delish. we had cocktails discounted at happy hour too. Did I mention the cocktails? Hoo haaa Wish they had more draft beer options . Cozy cozy cozy place with extremely high quality food. A delightful surprise. Wonderful staff and Hail to the CHEF!!!

We had the most amazing dinner at the Smith's! We were a little concerned about the noise when we arrived but to our delight we were seated in the coolest back room area, and separate from the front main bar. Perfect for private parties if you wanted to bring the office or plan a family reunion. We ordered 4 meals and a couple of sides, along with some fish and chips (My wife is from Norwich and having fish and chips is always a great addition to any feast). We're not drinkers by our boys and their wives had wine and beer and very much enjoyed their drinks. The service was also great! In fact when we got seated the room was a bit freezing, and there were only a few others in there, so I asked one of the gents if the area we were in had separate air and he was so nice about it, turned it down and it was just perfect for the amount at guests. I wish I had taken pics of my plates of food, I'm not the guy that remembers that kind of stuff, and to be honest the food disappeared nearly as quickly as it arrived! The table went silent for about 10 minutes while everyone dug in, and boy did we enjoy it! For the next hour we all picked at everyone's plates and enjoyed each other's company. I'd go back in a in no Time for any special occasion or any meal! They have Sunday Roasts, and guaranteed we'll be going back for one of those! Our entire family enjoyed The Smith's for our Dinner Feast and we all recommend it to anyone who hasn't been before!
