Guter Service, nett. Essen sehr schlecht. Angefangen von den Zutaten über die Zubereitung... Selbst , wenn man es als „Bar Food“ großzügig bezeichnen sollte, einfach schlecht. Mülleimer stehen sichtbar im Bar/Essensbereich. Rooftop ist eine Terrasse von der man die Wände der umstehenden Häuser anguckt. Die obersten 7 Etagen des Empire State Building sieht man, das kann man aber auch vom Strassen Cafe auf 6 oder 7 Avenue. Ich kann das Refinery Rooftop nicht empfehlen.

Super angenehmes Restaurant welches über einen Fahrstuhl direkt zu erreichen ist. Nette Begrüßung und sehr guter Service.

Ich hatte für meine Freundin und mich einen Tisch reserviert. Als wir ankamen sind wir schon ein wenig erschrocken, da es sehr laut war. Die Bedienung führte uns zu unserem reservieren Tisch, Sie sagte uns das nur ein Teil dieses Tisches für uns reserviert sei, da ein größere Gruppe kommt und den anderen Teil für sich beansprucht. Wenn ein ixj einen Tisch reserviere, dann für mich und möchte diesen nicht mit anderen teilen, sonst kann ich mir eine Reservierung sparen! Schlecht !

I booked this reservation a few days in advance because I had some family visiting from out of town. We booked Refinery as a nice rooftop with a view to go to after my cousin and aunt’s first ever Broadway show. Initially, I was struggling to select between refinery rooftop and RH rooftop. But went with refinery since it was closer to the theater. I regret this!! When we arrived, the hostess could not find my reservation, even though I showed her both the confirmation email and the OpenTable reservation, which I made at least a day or two in advance. It was embarrassing to have family feel like I hadn’t planned for them. When we sat down, my elderly aunt was finding it difficult to cope with the noisy and busy-body children at the table next to us. So perhaps not the most thoughtful table to seat us at. To top it off, my aunt got sick at the end of the night. I suspect it was due to the food, but of course one can never be certain. Needless to say, I would definitely not return, and advise others to avoid as well.

Restaurant could not locate my confirmed Open Table reservation- team member stated it was an ongoing issue and Open Table reservations do not come through to their system. They were able to seat us and besides issue with reservation, brunch was delicious and view was wonderful.

Very disappointing customer service. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation wasn’t in their system. The manager, who was quite rude, informed us that we couldn't sit on the patio and offered us seating in the covered area. We asked if we could wait for a patio table, but the same rude and unprofessional manager said it would be almost impossible, as those tables were reserved for guests with reservations (which we had, and I provided proof). After waiting for some time, we decided to leave. Just as we were about to enter the elevator, the hostess came over and said she had managed to get us a table outside. Overall, the experience was poor. The food was decent, but the service was awful. We had to get up several times to ask for assistance. I do not recommend this place. The manager needs to be replaced!

They did not have our open table reservation and were rude about it. Said they were having open table issues not the only person with this issue there

Food, drinks, ambience and all was fantastic. Definitely worth the visit. Service was kinda slow, empty plates remained on the small table and were only removed when the main courses arrived. Water wasnt refilled and took too a little for a waiter to come around. Overall tho its not enough to disparage me or anyone from going, if you are thinking of going. Go

Apparently OpenTable reservations don’t register with the restaurant’s system. We arrived and they had no record of our reservation. The manager said OpenTable doesn’t always communicate with their reservation system. Thankfully he did his best to accommodate us as close to our time as possible. But id be cautious about booking through OpenTable for refinery moving forward.
