Very convenient after Cal winter graduation but training a new bartender so some drinks did not arrive until we finished our meal. Nice atmosphere.

Delicious little gem salad , like a fresher Caesar. I love the crispy lemon slices! I enjoyed my veggie risotto and my husband liked his spaghetti and meatballs . I wish the chairs were less loungy/more upright and at the right height for the table.

Came for thanksgiving buffet. Food was mostly very good. Crabs were unseasoned. Turkey and Prime Rib were incredible. Stuffing was delicious. Desserts were solid the pecan pie was the star as it was salty and sweet—stood out for sure. Service was ok considering how busy it was. Would repeat!

For Chez Panisse prices ($120/person) on Thanksgiving we got a meal from the Safeway deli. Veggies cooked to mush. Desserts from the cheapest supermarket box, not made in house and not even the supermarket bakery level stuff. Waiter nowhere to be found. We finally got to order drinks after we’d finished eating. But automatic 20% gratuity added. Sterile banquet room. This place sucks.

Outstanding service, delicious cuisine and comfortable setting. Every bite was a delight. There were flashing lights in the street due to an emergency vehicle and for half our meal we had to deal with this on our faces since we were seated at a window. No fault of the restaurant but it would have been nice to be offered a different table.

Our Server got into fight with the chef and it was awful experience being there witnessing that. No one was ready to attend to us and we could hear yelling from the kitchen.
