A reimagined take on French cuisine in the West Village, where Chef Maxime Pradié’s menu draws from the flavors of the South of France and the culinary traditions of his Franco-Italian roots. We hope you’ll join us in our intimate space at 72 Bedford Street, which features the work of local crafts people, to experience our seasonal, ingredient-driven dishes and our thoughtfully curated wine and spirits program by our beverage team, Jenni Guizio and Cory Holt.

Showed up 9:11 for 9:15 reservation & only sat at 9:35. Staff was apologetic and wonderful but overall food was not memorable. The best dish was the pate de campagne and the wines we shared were very nice. The moules were dry, the pasta davia was overcooked, the lamb stew was dry/bland and the pork collar was 3 artfully placed pieces of fatty pork w two dandelion leaves & some cooked onions. Sadly they were out of beef Bourgogne and sub was a 50/60 ounce dry aged steak. Overall not great dining and I would not go back.

We had a lovely dinner at Zimmi’s and very impressed with the food. The ambiance was cozy, the dishes were unique and flavorful while still approachable. The standouts were the artichoke soup with foie gras and the lamb entree. The cocktails were well crafted and wines lovely. Service was warm and attentive.

I like the size of the restaurant and our server was super nice. Also it was not noisy even though full. My only disappointment were the oysters. Shaved ice on top? Not so good. The main and desserts were amazing and we will return.

It was 17 degrees (-8 in Celsius) outside and this spot was the perfect cozy little cute restaurant. The staff was super nice and welcoming, every single thing we tasted was beyond delicious and well-balanced (not too salty nor sweet; perfection), and even the restroom fixtures was impressive without being excessive. Such a refreshingly cute dining experience, def coming back soon!

A true discovery. One of the best meals - and dining experiences - we’ve had in NYC in a very long time. Warm and welcoming service, delicious food, a lovely room that feels warm and cozy (even on a bitter cold night,) and a sense that everyone working there is happy to be there, and looking to make the diners’ evening memorable. Started with two of the smaller plates - pissaladiere and barbajuan - followed by artichoke soup and vegetable terrine, followed by a delicious, filling, hearty lamb stew and a perfectly cooked (medium rare, skin on) salmon. Every bite was full of flavor, and the portions were good-sized. Desserts were the rice pudding and the pavé au chocolat - both were perfect. It was my partner’s birthday, and while we thought oniy our server, Dan, and the front of the house team (Jenni and Cori) knew about that, it seemed that anyone else on the staff who came to our table had also been clued in. Even though the tables are all quite close to one another, the noise level wasn’t at all a problem. So kudos to everyone at Zimmi’s. It’s a really special place.

Great warm and cozy new place in west village. Interesting yet unpretentious dishes with unique flair. Nice buzz and unusual wine selections. Helpful friendly staff. Enjoyed it!
