For 20years, Chef Victor Wang and Owner Chiara Covelli have reigned over their highly acclaimed restaurant… Zen Forrest… known for its Chinese, Korean, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, and Singapore. Award winning lunches and Dinner. Private events, cooking classes. Zen Forrest was known for amazing food, sake, wine and imported and local beers.
When the lease came up at Zen Forrest and they couldn't stay Chiara thought it might be the end of Zen Forrest in New Port Richey. As good things do happen, with the assistance of the new partner, Jay Patel, he found the perfect location on Grand Boulevard in downtown New Port Richey. It is a larger restaurant accommodating over 150 guests, with a Sushi Bar and a sociable, full liquor cocktail bar.

Chef Victor and partners are pleased to share their excitement with loyal Zen Forrest customers and friends and they look forward to hosting you to a new ZEN Kitchen & Bar experience.

Fantastic menu! We had three appetizers and shared them all, the crab Rangoon (the sauce was amazing), samosas (what a presentation!also delicious), and the zen rolls (tasty). Two of us had the butter chicken with the bread basket (omg. Best. Ever) and one had the chicken lo mein, and another had the fish. Everything was so good. Waiter was on point. We had a reservation and got there early. We waited a bit at the bar (great drinks) and they seated us earlier than our original reservation, so we were also happy about that. It was a little noisy in there, but not enough that we couldn’t have great conversation. Restrooms are very clean and decent. Prices were as expected. Overall a huge win.

A surprisingly good lunch (outside our usual comfort zone). Tried things we never thought we’d be eating. Coconut Chicken Rice soup - Awesome! Zen Rolls - Excellent! Zen’s Pad Thai, medium heat - Very good, just a little sweet for me, but would order it again. Pan Seared Salmon with Green Goddess Rice - So good, we wanted more! Servers were excellent!

We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Zen Kitchen! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the perfect tone for our meal. Our server, Dora, was truly exceptional—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and ensured that every detail of our meal was perfect. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a delight, showcasing high-quality ingredients and expert preparation.
