Yugo reimagines the concept of traditional favourites by injecting its menu with an array of global flavours. Designed by culinary and creative visionary Matthew Butcher, Yugo brings together his love of sharing and family with inspiration gathered from his travels.

With moreish starters like the Crayfish & Picked Crab Croquettes or Duck Fat Potato Terrine, to tasty, satisfying dishes from the grill like our Southern Ranges Scotch Fillet with garlic sweet soy, Yugo offers and exciting menu to suit every palate.

Great service thanks to all the staff whom managed things really well even on New Years Day when there we a lot of people to attend to they kept their cool and smiles

Possibly a little difficult to assess properly, as our booking was for January 1st. 2024. Pleasant dining room, great view of the river, and service very good.

We had a nice time for NYE but we did think it was a little overpriced. The quality & volume of food wasn’t fantastic and I would have expected a bit more. Staff were lovely & helpful.

We dined there for New Years Eve 4 course set menu and was well done and the service we couldn’t fault in the temporary restaurant due to renovations they did there best to make it a lovely night

Lovely healthy food with nice flavours, we really enjoyed everything about our time at Yugo’s.

Food was cold and was an average variety. eggs too a long time to come out also. Staff were extremely noise out back of house also.

Christmas Lunch was very unpleasant. Crowded. Food poor. Queue hovered our seating table the whole time making the atmosphere claustrophobic. Wait staff could not see our table hence no service for water or wine. Both items were requested and on the 2nd request got water but no wine was ever delivered. Food I felt was poor for the prestige of the hotel. Meat was cut very thick and unpleasant to eat. Vegetables were limited and stodgy. Seafood was of a better quality. Desserts were limited some fresh fruit/fruit salad would have been appreciated. I don't believe the time slot system worked because when we arrived at 12.30pm most tables were occupied. Maybe two sittings would have worked better. Also more serveries would have eased the long queues. A carver for each meat. This limited number of serveries (especially desserts) created the food platters emptying too frequently. In conclusion, the breakfast sessions were very good, however, the special Christmas Lunch will need some refining if I was to recommend it to anyone else. I was very disappointed in my experience for this special lunch which I was looking forward to and definitely was not worth the cost and the service I received.

Food terrible, had to constantly ask to get things topped up instead of staff being onto it. Quality of food was shockingly bad, cooked bad, sauces terrible not house made, desserts disgusting, hard roast potatoes, hard pumpkin, sides terrible.. Service absolutely the worst I’ve come across in 46years of my life.. late to open kept everyone standing around. No apologies or communication.. didn’t get served a drink for a whole hour which is unheard of in anywhere I’ve been.. I had to go find the waiter twice to get this drink though.. next drink took almost as long, once again I had to get up and find a waiter to order it as no one came to our table at all.. cleared my own plates and my mums 3 times as no staff bothered too.. setup was bad, people standing right next to people as there eating isn’t on.. over 40mins standing in line to get food as the serving stations and setups were wrong.. always waiting on food to be bought out.. plum puddings worst ever had. Hard as rocks. $16 for a bourbon coke is outrageous also.. Ambience was ruined by fact no one was happy and spent 80% of time standing in line instead of enjoying family time at Christmas.. Terribly unhappy..
