Great food The chicken skewers were cooked to Perfection as well as the meatballs Dessert was perfect win the right sugar and flavor.

Sending a private note to the owner/manager. The food was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful, and it has a great vibe - no wonder all the beautiful people were there on Saturday night. Our servers were attentive (led by Cesar) and the presentation/delivery of the food elevated the experience. The portions were generous (good value for the money). I would have rated this one of the best dining experiences I've had any place in the world EXCEPT for one thing - the bathrooms. Both were by the front door, and one was inoperable. The queue spilled over into the waiting area foyer.

Always a delight. The only issue was the noodles were a little too water causing the sauce to run and not stick.

Pretty good "pure" Greek cuisine (lots of "Mediterranean" places in Austin) but could use some improvement by increasing quality of ingredients. With so many "farm to table" restaurants in Austin, you can tell the difference in sourcing; it's not bad, just average. That being said, I'd still come back for the ambiance and friendly staff.

We heard about Yamas from some friends and decided to give the place a go. The hostess at the front was great but the experience soon went downhill. From there. We were assigned a waitress who just didn't really seem to give a hoot about any of the people she was assigned. I always say to myself if you don't like your job, just quit and get a new one. Especially when you are one in the hospitality business. The drinks came out and they were lackluster and soon the food came out And the only thing that I can say about that was the filet mignon was grilled to perfection. My partner ordered the sea bream which was absolutely terrible, She couldn't even finish it. The waitress only came to our table once the whole entire time and we were there for at least an hour. The waitress didn't know Jack nothing about the wines and when we were finished, I bloody well had to go and ask for the check and the boxes myself. I only have one statement for this establishment's staff, "DO BETTER". This experience was not worth $150. Very disappointing.

Parking at entrance and across the street. Atmosphere is friendly and reminiscent of Greece. Service is attentive. Food is incredibly delicious. We had the bass and beef short rib dishes for mains. Grilled octopus starter is the best we have had. Baklava is authentic; not too sweet. Would definitely recommend (make reservations!), and will return on our next visit to Austin.

Food is fantastic consistent and staff is great. Not a bad table in the house. Families are welcome. Proprietor’s often onsite, are passionate and delightful.

Overall had a positive experience. The service was not what expected. It was our first time dinning here. No recommendations were made, we weren’t checked in on very often, and tables were way too close to one another.

I wish I had read the other reviews complaining about the noise level before booking a table. The noise was so loud you couldn’t have a conversation without yelling or speaking directly into the other person’s ear. Food was okay but lacking in spices. I had the pastitsio. It apparently was put on a plate that was in the frig - although the food was hot the part actually sitting on the plate were ice cold. Based on their prices they’re extremely proud of their food - perhaps they need to try tasting it. Not going back and recommend others give it a pass.
