Using traditional Hakata Yakitori cooking techniques passed down through generations, our skilled chefs grill Hawaii's natural ingredients to perfection. We are committed to sourcing the very finest ingredients from Hawaii's many talented farmers, fisherman, and purveyors. A wide range of beer, wine, nihonshu (sake), shochu, chuhai and highballs are available to complement our Yakitori.

Beer was over priced, waited for a while to get service. Forgot to give me my beef tongue. Price for amount of food not worth it, spent $140 and left $20 tip and still left hungry and still thirsty had to go another bar to get better and cheaper drinks and food. Decided to give this place a try due to high ratings but left very dissatisfied.

Tried for weeks to get into Yakitori Ando only to discover there’s a “black market” selling reservations. The concierge recommended Hachibei as a substitute, and it was excellent!

Lackluster - boring , not a typical experience in this type of spot but they don't even greet you in the traditional Japanese manner as you walk in - chefs seem un happy to be working , food is just OK and many items in the menu have changed or are simply not available. Not worth the time or money!

Omakase 10 course $35/person, reasonable price. Great food, very good services. I loved each food, prepared with Japanese sauces. Not only Yakitori, other dishes were delicious as well. I will definitely come back again soon. Highly recommended !!

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. They recently got new management but thank goodness the menu is mostly unchanged. I love staples like the watercress salad and the miso eggplant. Please stock umeshu wine again! But really a great restaurant!

Favorite to go to, staff always welcoming and attentive. Daniel always looking to do better even though top of his game already. Chef Paulo skewers were perfect!

It used to be one of our favourite joints. Every year when we come back to Honolulu, we will book this restaurant but this time it was disappointing. The chicken breast skewers were dry and the thigh was slightly tough. We waited 30minutes for our last skewer and when we asked, they said they are just working on it and since they have not started, we can cancel. What kind of attitude if the order was missed out. We then was served 2 orders that weren’t even ours. It was such a chaotic service. Disappointing
