I just had my birthday dinner here and I have some regrets. The service was amazing and so was the ambience but out of 6 people no one really liked any of our dishes. The pricing was a little ridiculous: had to pay $120 upfront to reserve for 6, had 20% service charge added which was $90. I had to remind the waiter to take off the $120 I already paid to reserve. There was another extra fees added that I didn’t understand. Oh well

We did the $60 per person 3 course menu and it was absolutely superb. The French onion tart was a perfect starter, and the wagyu steak melted in your mouth. Fantastic service with plenty of staff around for your needs no matter how busy it is. Oh, also the absinthe menu and cocktail selection paired amazingly with the food. Great date spot for that special someone.

my parents are in town visiting, and we brought them here. Not only was everyone lovely, the food was delicious. Everything on the menu seems like it was a conscious choice, and each piece of the meal tasted delicious. We usually don’t order dessert when we go out, but we did this time and didn’t regret it.

The food was great, but we found the prices a bit high considering certain shortcomings in the service (for example, they sat us 15 minutes late, and the drinks arrived after two courses), and also the comfort of the place, being a bit narrow with high traffic around the tables (specially ours which was in the main path).

We spent our NYE dinner at Wormwood and it could not have been better choice. The entire staff was top notch and made our night very memorable. The food and drinks were amazing and the setting was beautiful. Thank you and we will definitely be returning.

The food and wine were good, and the place is very cute and cozy. However, we booked the tasting menu for New Years Eve and were given a table in the hallway, next to the bathroom, with an open door on a very cold night. We requested to change the table and were ignored on several occasions, until one very attentive waitress saw how visibly upset we were and quickly accommodated a different table in the patio for us (after the 5th time asking). The reason this was most upsetting was because we had reserved the food and wine pairing tasting menu, with that price, we would expect to be given a good seat or at least attempt to accommodate our request, instead we were told they could not accommodate because people had made reservations (as if our reservation did not count). Thankfully the amazing waitress, Holly, who quickly apologized and gave us a new table and turned our night around for a nice ringing in of the New Year.

Very slow service, the waiter had 11 tables and barely ever checked on us. Overall, food was very good except for the entrée that came out cold and without the second person‘s entrée. I’ve eaten here several times before and always had a good experience. This time really put a bad taste in my mouth
