The restaurant is putting out above average food. The service is very friendly, but the bar and kitchen are slow. The noise level is off the charts.

We made a reservation through OpenTable and when we arrived they did not have the reservation. We were seated but very frustrating. It was Prime Rib night - one person asked for Rare and I wanted Med. Rare - they came out well done. The asparagus was soaked in butter, so I could only eat one. Mashpotatos were cold. Ordered a second glass of wine - it never came - was not charged for it. This is a semi-private club - we are members of the club and they still do not have away to charge my club number.

Food was excellent- I had pot roast over mushroom risotto with baby carrots. Meat was so tender. One suggestion offer a vegan diner option.

Apps and drinks very good. Filets, Short Ribs and their sides were all very good, with both Filets cooked just as ordered. Huge portions. They just need to do something about the glaring overhead canned lights and the ambiance of the redone restaurant. And please get the check out system streamlined for members and non members. It’s almost there but not quite.

We had dinner at Whispering Irons (formerly Waterfall Grill at Cateechee) that is under new ownership. The restaurant has been remodeled. The bar has been moved to where the main dining room was. We were sat at a table but we asked if we could move to a table that was closer to a window. After we moved we ordered drinks. Everyone was happy with there choices from the bar. Chloe was our server. Very kind and helpful. We had the Pork Belly appetizer and it was delicious! My wife ordered the Scallops and I ordered the Braised Beef Short Rib as our entree. Both of these dishes were very good. The short rib was very tender with that wonderful beef flavor. The scallops were very good also! Seared perfectly! The lighting was a little too bright for diner and we gave that feedback to Chloe. She was very receptive and appreciative of the suggestions we had. We will be going back! Great place in our community! It was great seeing Tony and Anthony! Both of these guys are to notch and a pleasure to know!
