    The restaurant looked very nice walking in and we were seated for our reservation on time. When we asked to order drinks the server said it would be 30 minutes or so before we would get them. When we asked if we could cancel the drinks order if we had been served and finished our dinner but had not yet received our drinks she said no, that we would be charged regardless. So we got up and left.

    Expensive prices for mediocre food. Service was poor. Noisy atmosphere. It's a one and done for me.

    The server was friendly and was very attentive and provided great communication. But, everything about the actual food wasn’t great. It came out super late and every dish was cold. One particular dish was so over cooked that it was almost inedible, we didn’t return the dishes though because it took so long for them to come out and we didn’t want to back the kitchen up even more. I will not be returning.

    Our second visit. Food still great. Good service but it took the bar 30 minutes to put out a glass of wine and a margarita.

    Our experience was disappointing. Compared to its predecessor, Ida, Claire, owned by the same company, the menu was sparse with only six main course options. The food was not up to their prior standards, and my wife said her steak was like leather. My salmon was good, but served with cold, cut up cucumbers and cold tomatoes. The focus was clearly on their whiskey display behind the bar and the whiskey flights which appeared to be popular. Hopefully it will improve with time, but we certainly won’t rush back

    The cocktails were very good as were the fondue and fried green tomatoes. The butcher board sounded amazing but was then delivered with totally different components that felt like leftovers. I did not care for the chicken meatballs. Overall I give it 3.5 stars. We may have caught them in a post holiday low. I will try again before I write it off.

    Very good food and service. Burgers were excellent, but fries were overdone. Limited beer and wine list, and some items they were out of. They didn’t even have a lager on tap, which was surprising. The whiskey cake and homemade whipped cream were outstanding!

    Based on reviews, we thought this would be much better but it was all kind of meh. We had the deviled eggs and meh. My old fashioned was good. The bathrooms smelled like sewage which may have left a gnarly taste in my mouth. Then came the entrees- my daughter’s kids meal was ok. Steak frites- ok. Rigatoni..yeah, the only thing I liked was the tomato and there were 2 so yay! Burger- meh. Salad and soup- meh. No one was really excited for anything they ate unfortunately. I don’t think we’d go back.

    There were plenty of seating for early seating. When we arrived around 5:30pm, it was sparsely populated. Our waitress was really great at selling the entrees and appetizers. We ordered brussel sprouts, duck wings, deviled eggs, chicken meatballs, and crab fritters. The brussel sprouts were definitely a trip back. The crab fitters lacked crab and flavor, there was way too much cream cheese. The bbq duck wings were ok, the deviled eggs were the size of quail eggs and the egg was overcooked, the chicken meatballs were flavored nicely. Everyone enjoyed their chicken, pork chop (my grandmother said it lacked seasoning) my steak frites was cooked perfectly, but came out warm at best. Overall, it wasn’t bad, but not a dining option for the future.
