We're serving up tasty farm-to-kitchen dishes & cocktails out of our 'from scratch only' kitchen and bar. Microwave? Never heard of it. We use slow-cooking methods on our live wood grill, smoker and spit because everything tastes better that way. And all this goodness is served to you as you kick your feet up in one of our rocking chairs, dine at a fancy table or relax out on the porch.

    We were here for Valentine's Day and we got a reserve table at a high top which was a little too close for comfort. So we asked if we could get a different table and the manager was very accommodating and moved us right away to a little four top out of the way. The food was great and the service was great. The bourbon flights that they offer of are an excellent value.Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be back.

    We selected the Valentine's Day special for 2. My wife had the New York Strip Steak which was tender and cooked to perfection. I had the Red Fish which was also tender and cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. The table was not the best location which was in front of the waiter's service area but due to how busy they were I did not ask for it to be changed. We will return and request a table near their fireplace.

    The food was good and the drinks are wonderful. We were seated at a table with 6 different chairs with three being wooden and three being fabric cushioned. The cushioned ones did not really fit the small table so it was uncomfortable. Some might not have a problem with that, but it was not my cup of tea. The service was decent, not great, but I will give them a break since it was the day before Valentine’s Day and they were busy. It was loud in there, but many restaurants are these days so I would not say they were any worse than most.

    We absolutely had a great meal and enjoyed our brunch experience. The chicken sausage was the best that I have eaten anywhere. We tried the crab fritters, beet salad as shareable, both amazing. I had the avocado toast with egg, delicious. The drinks were really flavorful. I had a specialty old fashioned. Everyone commented on how fresh everything was. The service was impressive as well. Great job, can’t wait to try this place again.

    Always love going to Whiskey Cake Baybrook especially when friends drive in to meet. Location is great but since you have opened, seen a steady decline in service. The restaurant was not crowded at all but service was awful. Our server was trying her best but was overwhelmed with other tables. We had to wait forever to be greeted after seating then forever again to get water. Weird ! Then several other servers passed us up even with a hand raise. Find it strange. I will second guess my choice next time I think. It’s a shame. Who is the manager ? Never saw one.
