Service and food is outstanding. It’s really nice to have this type of gathering and dining space in the West End. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

This is our second trip to West Social and was for lunch (1245 reservation) today. It went pretty good overall. Reasonable service and food. The place is noisy even at lunch. We sat on the main level about 30 feet from the bar on the way to the washrooms. Would have gave it higher rating today (4.5) however I will include a review of our first trip now. That was for dinner reservation Sat Dec 14 at 630 (another party booked this). Well lets just say it did not go well. The service was very slow for drinks and dinner. Drinks came about 1/2hr after arrival then we ordered our apps and meals. Apps came about 745. The server unfortunately slide a wedge off the plate and proceeded to use his hand to put back on the plate (not ideal - but we used the 5 second rule -LOL). The mains showed up about 815 and mine was cold and asked to substitute the cous cous for another starch that did not happen. I sent it back and it returned quickly by 820 corrected. We enjoyed the food. Our seats were behind the wine cellar in the elevated area but it got very loud. So loud you could not converse without yelling (rating 3.0 tops). Trust you are still working out some of the bugs which is to be expected. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years!!!

We had an amazing overall experience. The food was great. The drink menu was extensive, and quite reasonable. Loved the relaxed but upbeat vibe. We felt very at home. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu. For just being open for a few weeks, it was impressive. Well done West Social!!

Loved everything about our visit to West Social for lunch. We shared the scallop appetizer which was delicious. Our main dishes were seafood spaghetti and cod coconut rice which was to die for. Dessert was the olive oil chocolate cake which was the perfect amount of sweetness. Thumbs up to this restaurant
