   Very disappointed with vue after going there for over 20 years for lunch as they have always had wine bottles at half price for lunch and their food was excellent. Today wine bottles are not half price for lunch anymore and wines on their list are outrageously priced for bottles and by the glass. Last visit for us. Ordered hamburger today for lunch. It was fine but they had placed 5 leaves of lettuce and stems on the burger. Service was fine as always but we were the only people there for lunch today from 11 to 12:15. Maybe we are not the only ones not going back for lunch.

   We had a wonderful dining experience at Vue on 30A! Our waiter, John, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure our party of five was well taken care of. The menu offered a great variety, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The shrimp and scallops were perfectly prepared, and the 16oz Pork Tomahawk was cooked beautifully. Portions were more than adequate for the cost. To end the meal on a sweet note, we enjoyed the Chef’s crème brûlée, beignets, and white chocolate bread pudding—each dessert was absolutely decadent. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to the area!

   We were celebrating our 40th anniversary in Santa Rosa Beach, one of our favorite places. Reading reviews online this seemed to be the perfect spot for our special dinner. We had chosen outdoor seating as that’s what we do in California, but this was a patio adjacent to a pool with zero ambiance. We requested to be moved inside but were told there was nothing available (it was 5:15 pm and we could see multiple empty tables). We were told we could go to the bar?? A server didn’t come to the table until we had been there for 15 minutes-water was brought in plastic cups! We ordered drinks finally and it was another 15 minutes. Appetizer shrimp was good but the cheese biscuits were rock hard and at least 2 days old. Caesar salad was bland, crab cake was mostly filler, chicken breast was thin and over cooked. The bread pudding was good and they comped that for our anniversary. Our server was nice and not his fault. Sadly our special evening was not what we envisioned and we will not return to the Vue as it was highly over rated, staff overall was not professional, food was not well prepared.

   We had an amazing dining experience! The food was delicious, and we got to enjoy a beautiful sunset on the patio. Chris, our server, was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and made sure we were warm and well taken care of. The atmosphere was perfect. Highly recommend!

   We made a reservation for a patio table and were seated right by the balcony overlooking the beach. A beautiful day with sparkling waves…I had the crab cake salad, which was a nice light meal. My husband had grouper tacos. The fries were good (I sneaked a few). Our server was prompt and cheerful, and the manager stopped by to be sure we were happy. Service was attentive but not intrusive. It was a very relaxing time. We’ve dined at Vue several times while in the area on vacation, and have always enjoyed it.
