Vessel Specializes in Fresh Seafood and New American Cuisine! Renowned Chef Wille Cooper, who trained under Emeril Lagasse & Wolfgang Puck sources fresh local ingredients incorporating many of the traditions New Orleans is famous for.     This is the second time we’ve dined at Vessel & also the second time it was disappointing. I was hoping the first time was just a bad night, but today’s brunch was equally as awful. We came in for a late brunch around 1:30pm with reservations. The menu is very small (which we knew), but the kitchen was out of 3 options leaving very sweet items or a basic breakfast plate. Our service was very slow. We only had water & main dishes. The water was refilled once only after I asked. The building is gorgeous. I just wish the service and kitchen management were held to a higher standard. The options for brunch and dinner in New Orleans are abundant choose a different spot.

    Vessel My experience at Vessel was disappointing. From the start, the wait times were excessively long, both for drinks and food. Unfortunately, when our dishes finally arrived, some were cold, and one of the appetizers had a noticeable frozen taste, which greatly impacted the overall dining experience. While our server was kind and attentive, the rest of the staff seemed disorganized. On two occasions, we were brought food that wasn’t ours, highlighting a clear lack of coordination. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

    Vessel NOLA was quite an experience. From the hostess to waitstaff, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The decor was great for a romantic evening or a casual dinner date. The food was impeccable. If you’re ever in NOLA, I’d recommend visiting Vessel NOLA. Great food, nice ambiance and an awesome staff.

    Service was awful. We waited 35 min for our first round of drinks. Ordered apps and entrees at the same time when drinks finally got delivered. We knew how the rest of the night was going to go…Main course still took 45 to come out. Server was taking smoke breaks while waiting on us and would disappear for a long time and then come back smelling like cigarettes. To me that is rude and disgusting. Food was good. Atmosphere is amazing though.

    The food was amazing. My gf had the fillet and I had the scallops. Both were top notch! Our server Ben was amazing and very helpful. Overall a very good experience 😃

    Was sat at the bar. Rachel was likely one of the best bartender/ servers I've ever had. She was genuine and engaging and very competent. I only ate fries and they were great...please put them back on the menu.

    We booked this restaurant based on the positive reviews and had a less than positive experience. The steak we ordered medium rare and we received more than well done. No one came to check on temperatures of food until we had finished what ended up being our shared entree of salmon, so the steak could not be refired. The brussel spouts were soggy and the desserts were just fine. We also booked their latest reservation indoor, were sat outside, and after an hour and a half of dining, the lights were turned out on us. The cheeseboard was alright though. Hopefully these issues can be addressed as it is a cute venue.
