Vercelli Restaurant is a family run Italian Restaurant situated in the centre of Hexham, a busy market town in Northumberland. The family, all from around the Hexham area, have worked hard over the last 4 years to modernise the cocktail bar and restaurant. All the family are involved in the business, with the aim of providing a memorable experience.

Sue, Front of House Manager, enjoys working alongside the enthusiastic team who have built a relationship with their returning customers and welcoming new, with an aim to make your experience relaxing and memorable throughout.

Executive chef, Jordan, and Head chef, Scott, source the finest Italian provisions to produce high quality Italian dishes with a modern twist.

At the front of the restaurant is a small, modern cocktail bar which hosts live music nights regularly but can be enjoyed for a bite to eat or a drink any night of the week.

The food here is always good. But last night I had the best seafood risotto ever, I can't stop thinking about it, I'll be back.

Good offer Tuesday-Friday 5- 6:30pm three courses for £15. But have ice cream as the coffee was awful.

Another fabulous meal. Great restaurant, lovely staff and a happy atmosphere. The mussels are amazing!

Delicious food - especially the risotto. You can always judge a restaurant by the quality of its risotto, according to my dining companion. Service was attentive but discreet, and despite being tight for time we didn't feel rushed. Always enjoy Vercelli.

Excelent working lunch. Great service, good selection of lunch menu food. Plenty of space and light. Lovely spot, highly recommended.

I would recommend Vercellis, we have been a few times and never been disappointed. Good service and good food. We tried a couple of different meals that we haven't had before tonight and they were good, 1 wasn't to my wifes taste but that was purely down to personal taste and preference and nothing wrong with the dish itself. The portion sizes at Vercellis continue to be generous and the quality of produce used is clearly to a high standard and quality. Vercellis in my opinion is the best restaurant in Hexham and an absoutle Gem of the Tyne Valley.
