Our ever popular steak night continues every Wednesday, with a £30 menu for three seasonal courses, always featuring a 40 day aged Aberdeen Angus steak.

Jeremy Lee, the legend at the helm of London restaurant Quo Vadis will bring his thoroughly British fare to Kent. Taking inspiration from the finest, regional ingredients, shining a spotlight on the produce of Kent, creating a menu of familiar classics with bold flavours Menu: Fried polenta, ricotta, sage and Jerusalem artichoke Smoked haddock, cockles, leek, potato, samphire & sea purslane Beetroot, soft boiled egg, horseradish & mustard salad Steamed mutton & suet pudding Wild garlic mash Winter greens Blood orange, rhubarb & pistachio trifle All dining is for communal tables and everyone will be served together, with guests invited to sit from 7pm and dinner served from 7.30pm. Tickets are £65 per person including a welcome drink.

On Saturday 26th April, the fiery island flavours of Soho’s Paradise and Dom Fernando will take over the kitchens of Updown. With a menu inspired by his Sri Lankan heritage, Dom’s menu will celebrate the best of British and Sri Lankan produce for a contemporary twist on Sinhalese cuisine.
