If someone had told me they experienced what I did this evening, I would think that they were exaggerating. I am shocked by the amount of disregard and disrespect my family and I experienced at Twisted Lime on the first day of the year! I have dined there for 10 years and I had nothing but great memories, until this evening. We were seated shortly before 5 pm. Our appetizer, 18 chicken wings, took over 40 minutes to arrive. We placed our entrée orders and tried to order another margarita, only to be told that the happy hour special ended at 5:30. It was 5:50 at this point, so I told our server that the official website advertises happy hour as 3-6 pm. He told me that I was the first to question this and asked if I’d like to speak to a manager, so I said yes. He told us a few times that the manager, Ms. Sears, said that she is busy. I watched her through the glass pretend to be occupied, with staff around her looking at our table and talking. Over 30 minutes later, no manager showed, clearly we were undeserving of her time or attention. We were then told that another manager, Shayne, would come over, but he never did. After we told our server that no one came, he then stopped another manager in passing, Ms. Gibson, and asked her to assist us. She brushed him off and went to assist other customers then eventually came back to hear our concern. I expressed how offended we were and she apologised, recognizing that I was there for two hours, and then said our food was on its way out (finally!). I told her we would like to pay for what we consumed and leave. She then offered to discount our bill by 20% and then said she would speak to the “GM”, Shayne, about our situation. Ms. Gibson said that he decided to “comp the entire cheque”. 30 minutes later, our entrées never arrived and we were not even looked at. Multiple groups came in, ate and left and we were still there waiting. 6:59 we left, hungry, annoyed and offended. What a waste of precious family time!

Service is horrendous. They did have people apparently call in however we sat 50 minutes before even getting a water at the table. Food was almost an hour and 20 minutes and apps and food came at the same time. Impossible to get a refill or a drink order and the actual order was not even close to correct. Food however was delicious but won’t go back. Service is terrible.

I haven't been there in a while but the service has change its been upgraded and the wait time was short food was great... was impressed with the manager being hands on also

We ate there on Christmas eve. The staff were excellent and great food. We found that they are a relatively good option (budget wise) relative to some of the other local resturants.

The food took l long to come out considering is wasn't much people there. The server came back after 30 minutes to say they didn't have what i ordered after everyone else already ate. I didn't get anything else. That was disappointing but everyone enjoyed there food (wish i could relate)

As someone who has dined at Twisted Lime on numerous occasions, I am disappointed with the service received on November 30th. I made the recommendation to my family that we should celebrate at Twisted Lime because I am usually pleased with my experience. However, this dining experience did not meet my expectations. The issues that we experienced (listed below) can easily be resolved by ensuring that sufficient staff are available during busy hours and that special attention is given to bigger groups: 1. It took a long time for a server to take our orders. We asked numerous times for someone to take our order. 2. The food took a long time to come out. 3. Some of the food orders were incorrect. But due to the long wait time, we settled for what we were served. 4. The female bathroom was not maintained. There was no toilet paper. Eventually, the staff brought hand towels to use as toilet paper. Therefore, I am hoping that my honest review can help to improve the service at this restaurant.

The food was good, but hostess was terrible, seating took almost an hour even tho I booked reservations. Food came out in an untimely manner. The waiter was serving too many tables at once, which resulted in us eating almost an hour after being seated.

We had a 5:30 pm reservation..arrived early around 5:20 pm. The staff at entrance advised us that the restaurant was busy so there could be a wait for food from 30-45 mins. We said that is ok and we were seated within 10 minutes. The waiter came promptly and left the regular menu and a happy hour menu. He advised us that the Happy Hour ended at six o'clock so we ordered drinks and our meal which included 2 Happy Hour platters . Order was placed before 6:00 pm. We also ordered extra wing orders. The drinks came which included 2 different Daiquiris. Waiter was confused which was which? The soups came within 10 minutes..so far so good. The extra wing orders arrived and one order was incorrect so a reorder was made. Waiter then arrives within 20 minutes with some orders but now claims the kitchen is not making more platters since it is after 6:00pm..Let's stop now...the orders were placed before 6:00pm. He said that he has no control on the kitchen. So, one of the parties orders a different meal... Let's stop again...he waits and waits then is told by waiter that his meal was given to someone else but he will get another similar order and compt the meal. We finally got the ordered meal as a takeout. All in all..it felt like we were in the insane asylum in the movie "One flew over the Cuckoos Nest". Our experience was a gong show that became more humerous than annoyance. Management was nowhere to be seen. In his defence, I feel that Marley the waiter did his best for the training he got. We felt that he also was frustrated with the chain of events that occured in the kitchen. Notable point is that the food that we got was good quality. We will try Twisted Lime again after Happy Hour closes at 6:00 o'clock..Avoid 5-6 oclock reservations.
