Once used as an auto repair shop, this modern gastro pub has undergone a colossal renovation, keeping the original facade, but completely stripping back the inside to create the incredible space it is today. The talented chefs at True South offer a modern Argentinean menu, served in the newly converted setting.

TrueSouth is an excellent spot for anyone looking to enjoy a great vibe, amazing beer options and great food choice. Seating is inside or out so great for summer evenings. Highly recommended for beer enthusiasts and casual dinners alike.

I think it's over-priced for what you get. We were a table of six and four of us ordered steak which is pricey however we didn't mind as long as it was cooked perfectly and value for money. The steak came out with no garnishings or sides and each steak had been cut by the chef to check if cooked. So wrong! Our waitress, who could have been the head waitress, as she seemed to be in charge, had zero personality and did not smile once and seemed abrupt. Maybe she was having an off-day! It was a birthday celebration and I wanted it to be special however I walked out and felt robbed.

Fabulous shared plates. We enjoyed a lovely lazy lunch overlooking the fabulous bay and we were provided with amazing service by Millie and the other wait staff staff on that day. Great job True South!!.

We LOVE True South. We are from California/USA and ate here a year ago, and have just returned for a fabulous birthday dinner. Every dish was excellent — we shared many plates, so were able to enjoy many flavors. We’ll be back!
