True Food Kitchen is a chef-driven restaurant and scratch bar that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil, the pioneer of integrative medicine, to provide food that tastes great and is good for you.     I love True Food Kitchen but this experience was awful on so many levels. This is my second time here this month, having two extremely different experiences. I ordered the same exact meal both times as I often do and it was just awful. I love this place so much that I brought my friend and his wife. He had been there once before she had not. Akk 3 of us have a list of allergies but nothing you haven't handled in the past. For me, I ordered the bison GF pizza, no onions or shallots, DF riccotta cheese, and an extra egg with a side of the airfried chicken tenders. The pizza was cold, it had a weird sauce on it, there was about a tablespoon of Bison sausage on it, and they also threw on some other dairy-free cheese that made no sense., like a cheddar. It tasted NOTHING like the one I had 2 weeks prior. Same with my chicken tenders, they tasted like they came out of a frozen bag. Overbreaded and hard as a rock. My friend's chicken salad was very unexciting and bland, and her husband expressed his allergies which is mainly an allergy to nuts and he took a bite of his sweet potato hash and he had an immediate reaction. On top of all of this our server was just off, not super attentive, and gave us our check when we did not ask for it before we were done eating. My friends were so turned off they will never go back.

    Our first time at this restaurant and we really liked it. Great healthy menu with vegetarian and vegan options as well as healthy meat and chicken dishes. Great happy hour menu too. We will definitely be back!

    I wish the True Foods here had real wood floors, like they do at so many other True Foods I have been to in California. The tile makes the place seem so cold, and is definitely not the True Foods Kitchen aesthetic that I’m used to at all. The server was friendly, but the service was a bit slow. Other than that, all was fine, and we will be back.

    Ease of reservation. Wonderful greetings upon arrival. Seating as requested. Diverse , healthy menu. Prompt attention from very cordial staff member relative to menu selections. Beverage orders delivered promptly followed by food selections. Nice sizes. Tasty. Enjoyed as usual,

    Food was lukewarm and my noodle bowl was too saucy. The only item that was good was the guacamole which required no cooking.

    Went with my family of 7 and we had a great experience. The waitress was super nice, helpful and accommodating. We didn’t have to wait long with anything we ordered. I would definitely recommend!

    The food at TFK is always fresh, nutritious and delicious. I had the Ancient Grains Bowl with grilled Tofu. It was a lot of food, so I had leftovers for dinner. My mom had the Braised Pot Roast with the dipping sauce. She loved it; the beef was super tender and the dipping sauce was just perfect. I highly recommend the Cauliflower as an appetizer. We also had the Butternut Squash soup, which was good as well. The server was also very nice and accommodating.

    Food is reliably delicious, clean & light tasting! Love the flexibility they have with special requests, too. Things like no SOS (salt, oil, sugar). No problem! Very accommodating!

    Service was very good but the food was very disappointing. We called to ask about corkage fees and we were told there was none. When we presented our bottle we were then told there was $15 fee. The staff stated it was a “training issue”.
