    Very nice to have such an authentic Greek restaurant in Portland! I think they've only been open less than a month and it's surprisingly good considering that. A few bumps still to work out but we will certainly give them some time and return again. The food comes out fast and it all tastes great.

    A beautiful new addition to the neighborhood. Delicious food and attentive service- we are so excited to have such a wonderful new restaurant to frequent!!

    The food and cocktails were delicious! Ordered multiple items on the menu and shared. Can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

    We were so happy to see that Trela finally opened! Glad to have a Greek restaurant on the eastside. Service was great, and we loved the ambience. We started with the scordalia, delicious and garlicky, served with warm pita bread. We loved the marouli salad - super light and refreshing. The saganaki - salty, fried cheese flambeed with lemon - was amazing! The spanokopita was spinach-heavy and had incredible flavor and texture, and the gigantes plaki was perfection. We opted for a nice bottle of Sarris Robola, a tasty Greek white wine that complemented our meal nicely. Our server brought a complimentary apertif to end the meal - a nice touch! Alas, we did not save room for dessert. Next time we plan to bring friends so we can experience more of the menu.

    We were a group of 5. Wait staff advised us that most diners ordered and ate family style. So we ordered accordingly. The cabbage rolls (3) , lamb chops (3), small pasta dish, small greek salad would not meet the requirements of family style. The dip (3) plate had a sampling that almost met the mark of family style. Wait staff was very attentive and courteous. The crowd noise was excessive, it was difficult to converse across our table without raising our voices. Hope Trela figures this one out. We don't expect to be back, there are many Mediterranean restaurants that have better ambiance and value.

    Could not change reservation to 3 from 2 had to wai for more than 20mins. Said will seat us at bar area then waited more but not informed that will seat us at table instead. The whole time table was empty and we were seated on this empty table. Restaurant is noisy & servings were small. Spread ordered was too salty

    So glad to have such a great restaurant in our neighborhood. Cocktails were tasty, balanced, and not weak (that’s a good thing). Dips were amazing. Pita bread was warm and delicious. Lamb chops were tender and perfectly seasoned. Skewers were juicy and tasty. Baklava was also delicate and perfectly sweet. We will be regulars.

    Whole fish was fantastic. Salad was okay. Wine selection is very good. We will definitely be back to try the other menu items. <3
