   Four of us dined on a busy Thursday night. We started with cocktails - the Seako Katerina was beautiful to look at and delicious, and the Adonis was a tasty take on an old fashioned. We started with the skordalia with pita - the bread is fantastic and the dip was garlicky goodness. The saganaki was next - fun presentation and excellent flavor. Next up: the marouli salad - simplicity at its best; gigantes plaki - trust me, order this; orzo mizithra from the sides list which was lovely - buttery with a cheese tang; and finally the lavraki -whole seared sea bass with Greek chimichurri served over a generous bed of sauteed kale and mushrooms - awesome! Our server suggested a wonderfully crisp white wine that paired beautifully with everything. Our last bite of the evening was a bit like a flan with filo layers - yum. The server presented us with a complimentary dessert wine to close things out. Service was excellent. Looking forward to trying some other menu items on our next visit.

   We loved the lovely space and the relaxed waitress staff plus they were in brunch and allowed us to get dinner items instead…was amazing!! Calamari…they were extremely fresh and the taziki was tasty. Lamb chops very good…loved the grilled lemon squeeze and herbs on top. Greek Salad was so amazing and fresh…loved it…will be back in the evening while it’s hopping! 👍

   The pita was delicious with the right amount of fluff, chewiness and flavor. The hummus, eggplant and feta dips were also good. The chicken gyro lacked flavor and salt. The custard dessert’s texture was not velvety but clumpy and the phyllo dessert had too many layers of phyllo making it taste dry and underwhelming.

   Wait staff were great. Our server recommended a nice wine that complimented the food well. The lamb chops were outstanding!!! Maybe the best I’ve had. Other food was pretty good, but next time I’d just get the chops, the nice Greek salad, and some pitas.

   Went for their new brunch and was impressed! The pistachio French toast and the Loukaniko (sausage) were *delicious*! Great brunch drinks too.

    It was our first time at Trela. The food was delicious and we cleaned our plates. We enjoyed the shakshuka and the Trela Florentine.
