Ever since the first caveman decided to slap a side of mammoth over the cave fire, man (and woman) has enjoyed the flavor of food cooked over a wood fire. At Timber Wood-Fire Bistro, all of our dishes are made from scratch using the highest quality ingredients. They are then cooked either over our state-of-the-art wood burning grill or in a brick oven heated by the embers of logs.
Cooking in this way imparts a slight smokiness as it brings out the natural flavors of the food. A juicy ribeye sizzles and caramelizes, giving the tender beef a gorgeous crust. The homemade dough for our pizzas rises in the heat, and the crust gets to be the perfect combination of crisp and chewy. Vegetables share an entirely new flavor profile when cooked over wood. Dining at Timber brings an experience both classic and innovative. Come eat and drink with us as you watch our fireflies dance above the wood-fired grill.

They were running a little behind when we showed up for our reservation, not a big deal , food was amazing just wish my burger was well done like I asked . Great restaurant, we will definitely be going back

As a celiac, it’s difficult to trust “gluten free” menu items. I was so thrilled with our server’s knowledge of cross-contamination, their kitchen practices and had fantastic recommendations. I would recommend this to anyone with gluten allergies, celiac or other sensitivities.

All around amazing experience. The food was amazing. Manager checked on us directly. I highly recommend. First timers and we will be back. So many items on the menus that we want to try.

Timber Woodfire Bistro is becoming my favorite go-to place to enjoy a great meal. I enjoy conversation with the friendly staff and severs. You will have a hard time finding a place where you can enjoy a steak dinner for the cost. About 25% lower in cost but as good as any other place I have been in Omaha. A call out for outstanding service by my waitress Ana ,she goes the extra mile to ensure you are taken care of.

A+ across the board. The focaccia and ricotta and the meatball appetizer were both fantastic. Great pizza. Wait staff did a great job all around. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to go back again.

The service was super great and the food came out very quickly as well! The menu is super diverse and we tried a little bit of everything, and it was all super good. Our waiter was very nice and enthusiastic, and the mood/vibe has great ambiance.
