   Food was really good!. Music was pretty loud inside. I thought the price point was extremely high for the small portion.

   We were very disappointed with the quality of the food for the expensive meal. The chicken meatballs had a rubbery exterior and mushy center, the stuffed piquillo pepper was drenched in mayo and the crispy rice was so over fried we could barely bite into it. I hope they figure out how to right the ship because it is a terrible dining experience.

   Hhm, unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this place yet. We had sangria, shishito peppers, foie gras, and a sushi roll. We ordered 2 glasses of sangria, and someone came out with a tableside cart. Apparently the menu lists sangria for $16 - then it says below that, add nitrogen for an additional $14. We didn’t notice the nitrogen part so were surprised when our sever told us that sangria always comes like that. We said hhm well why does it offer a glass of sangria for $16 then when really it only comes with nitrogen for a total of $30 per drink? She said yeah it’s confusing. It seems they were confused more than we were, though they did take the extra $14 (each) off the bill. The whole thing was weird. The foie gras was ok. It came with two tiny pieces of crusty bread and a bitter orange sauce, which was fairly bland and didn’t offer the usual sour/bright offset to the foie. The shishito peppers were doused in a sweet sauce of some kind. It was too much sauce and too sweet for my taste. The sushi roll was just ok. The fish did seem fresh but the roll also had some sweet sauce drizzled all over it. Not a fan. The place was pretty dead, but the property and patio were pretty, with nice fire pits. One last thing, I would find it hard to eat indoors bc of the smell of hibachi. That scent just sticks to your hair and clothes. I think this place has potential, but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon. Sorry.

   Very limited menu. The prawns were excellent, however the 'special' chicken meatballs seemed like they had a rubber coating on the outside. The yellowfin & scallion roll was quite small. I would recommend that you try another restaurant.

   Was hoping for a great experience as this is a celebrity chef restaurant. Unfortunately, it’s an awkward left over space at the Hyatt so they called it a restaurant. There are a half dozen sushi places in North Scottsdale with better sushi at better prices. We sat inside and it was 55 degrees out and they had the doors open and it acted like a wind tunnel. Suffice to say we had a poor experience.

   Tiki Taka is a must-visit! The ambiance is vibrant yet cozy, blending Japanese and Spanish flavors in the most creative way.    Restaurant and table layout. Very odd . Menu very minimal , nothing sounds good. We sent back an item. Food no taste . MValue to expensive. most items burnt

   Food was great ,we try new dishes that we never try before la PAELLA definitely has a very different flavor when it comes to the rice NOT your typical rice but it was good.Price I think is a little bit over price in my opinion for the portion that you get but definitely I recommend this place if your willing to try new food

    Although they mentioned having a celebrity chef in the house, we found all of the dishes to be disappointing. The pork belly was so tough and dry we couldn’t eat it. The crispy rice with tuna was slightly better than the other dishes we ordered, but lacked in flavor. The sushi was forgettable. We did like the cocktails and the waitress was very nice. For a new restaurant with strong competition in the area this needs an overhaul to compete. They can also improve upon the ambiance so you don’t feel like you’re in a ‘hotel restaurant’. The outdoor tables may be a better choice than inside. Overall - expensive food at a less than desirable quality.
