Das Theo Randall im InterContinental hat sich seit seiner Eröffnung im Jahre 2006 in der Londoner Restaurantszene fest etabliert. Der gefeierte Küchenchef Theo Randall (ehemaliger Partner im River Café) kreiert mit den besten saisonalen Zutaten preisgekrönte Gerichte der italienischen Küche, die begeisterte Kritiken erhalten. Das ungezwungene, schlichte Restaurant mit Menü-Highlights wie handgemachte Pasta sowie Fleisch und Fisch vom Holzfeuer ist nach Theos Worten „eine Million Meilen entfernt von der komplizierten Kost, die einem normalerweise in der Park Lane serviert wird“. Seit seiner Einführung hat das Theo Randall im InterContinental zahlreiche Auszeichnungen erhalten, darunter den Titel „Best Italian Restaurant of The Year“ bei den London Restaurant Awards, „Best Italian / Mediterranean over £50“ im Harden’s 2013, und rangiert als das am höchsten bewertete italienische Restaurant in der Sunday Times Food List 2013.

                                        At £75 per person for the Regional set menu, Theo’s offers excellent food at quite a reasonable price (for a central London, Michelin restaurant). The place was busy and had a buzzy atmosphere. Service was a little hit and miss as more tables were seated.

                                        We opted for the monthly regional tasting menu which for August was Campania. It was a 4 course menu with 3 courses accompanied by a matched glass of wine. Each course was well prepared and delicious particularly the 3rd course which was beef and just melted in the mouth. We find the regional tasting menu very good value and the wine chosen is always so complimentary. The staff are good as well and when we asked if they could write down the wines for us they provided a copy of the menu which was personally signed by Theo Randall - a really nice touch. We'll certainly be back for another month's menu.

                                        We have visited Theo Randall many times over the last few years - the Festa in Famiglia lunch is a real treat and also good value. There is always a creative buffet to begin with followed by your choice of main course and dessert. Our waiter Peter was amazing and made the whole experience very enjoyable and memorable. It's a great setting and ambience - go! You will not be disappointed

                                        Food was fabulous as always, this is the second time I have had the weekend brunch and the service was amazing with generous top ups of Prosecco.

                                        A great experience. Server Peter was excellent. Food was delicious although it was disappointing to see the sea bass had been swapped to salmon. We opted for the wine rather than cocktails which cost an additional £4 per head but it was a good decision on our part as both red and white wines were excellent.
