The View at Mountain Lodge Telluride, led by our new Chef Lonny Shepard, offers an exquisite alpine cuisine experience focused on locally sourced ingredients and healthy options.

In 2023, The View proudly won the OpenTable Diners' Choice Award for Denver/Colorado, recognized as the best for scenic views and the mountains' best for brunch.

The View is easy to get to and offers breathtaking views of the San Juan Mountains. The elegantly designed great room features a cozy fireplace, lofty ceilings, and stunning mountain views, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. Guests can also enjoy a meal in the dining room or out on the pool deck.

The View is just a short walk from the Village Market gondola, or call our front desk at (970) 369-6001 for a complimentary shuttle ride from Mountain Village Core or Village Market gondola.

Tickets are priced at $10 per person, and the event is open to guests aged 21 and older. We will be offering bottomless mimosas, along with a specially curated brunch menu, so be sure to arrive hungry. Doors open at 11:00 AM, with the performance beginning promptly at 12:00 PM. Food was good not great. Service was good in general but why clear away two people's plates while the other person is still eating. Ambiance was nice, nice building and pretty spot.

The pot roast was awesome. The burger was great. We were sorry to miss out on the chicken pot pie. Service was on point.

We had to alter our plans a bit because two of our guests could not make it, the restaurant was very accommodating. It is a beautiful setting but a bit dark for dining. Our waiter was very attentive at first and seemed very anxious to get our dinner order. Our dinners were served rather quickly, not really enough time to finish our before dinner cocktails. After our dinner was served the attentive waiter was scarce. I had to flag him down to get salt and pepper for the table and water glasses were rarely refilled. The restaurant was not busy.

We celebrated “Chinese New Year’s Eve” here at the restaurant, and the service was great. We ordered the following 3 entrees: bison bolognese ragu, chicken pot pie, and rainbow trout. All 3 dishes were excellent. We would definitely come back here to eat again and try out the other items on the menu. So therefore, we highly recommend The View for couples, friends, and families!! In addition, the NEW Food and Beverage Team is exceptional. They include the following 3 people: Lonnie (Executive Chef), Arturo (F&B Director), and Christopher (F&B Manager). Kudos to them and keep up the good work!! 👍😀

Our party ate dinner here New Year’s Eve - I made the reservation on open table and perused the menu. A couple days prior I received a confirmation call and was informed there was a pre fixe menu for the evening- ok fine but it was not listed on their website nor on open table- and far too late of notice to make alternate plans- further, I was given 4 different prices for this special dinner $85, $125 prior and while there $75 initially was followed by $135 pp which was the actual price. The food was good and the restaurant was pretty and we had a great table- also we had kids and they were allowed to order off the kids menu. I would recommend this restaurant despite no one seeming to know the cost of the dinner. Also as a side note- we were able to see the fireworks - we went outside under the entrance where they were visible

We had reservations during peak lunch time on New Year’s Eve…the food was delicious, the service was prompt and The Lodge lives up to its reputation for being the best on the mountain!! Thanks!!
