   We had a wonderful dinner with friends. The food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful. We will definitely dine there again.

   We loved the ambiance at The Sycamore with warm interior colors and interesting chandeliers, great piano music. The food was served quickly and hot by a delightful waitperson. We'll go again whenever we want a special meal out.

   This is a gem of a restaurant. I’m so happy it’s in Pittsboro. The service was impeccable beginning with an owner/gm greeting us at our table soon after being seated. The menu is very diverse, with every dish we ordered coming out perfectly. Kudos to the entire staff!

   We began the evening in the cocktail lounge and our server was very helpful. He recommended various drinks and suggested a cheese board. My lamb dinner was delectable. The lamb ate like butter and was so mild, I thought it was locally raised! Our server was delightfully helpful--Kaitlyn, I think. It's a beautiful space and we had a lovely evening. There is NO reason to not dine here.

   Food was delicious, service was attentive, our only complaint was with the music, which was more pop than the top-quality jazz we've enjoyed in the past.

   The dining experience was lovely. The food was wonderfully prepared and presented. I was delighted that the Rack of Lamb was still on the menu for the evening as that was what was what I was craving for my Birthday meal. It did not disappoint! My only critique was that I had a seat that gave me full view of boxes in an outside dumpster. One seen, I could not unsee it. Frosting the lower panes of glass in the exterior window would prevent that view for future diners. Seating us at a table that had remained empty during the full dinner service would have been a far better option.

   We had a lovely meal and enjoyed our time. However, my husband ordered a bloody mary and our server came back and said that there was no bloody mary mix. I make bloody maries at home all the time. A full service, proper bar, should be able to whip one up. Our server, Skylar, was great.

   The beef tenderloin was cut too thin and the taste was average, with minimal seasoning … not special for Valentine’s Day. The appetizer selection(s) were shrimp/fish forward, we had 2 people with seafood allergies. The duck was very well done, it was very consistent with the high quality we expect from the Sycamore.
