Located in the heart of downtown Stratford, steps away from the Avon Theatre, The Starlight is loved by locals & tourists alike. Listed as one of Air Canada’s 2024 Best New Restaurants, our menu crafted by chef Yva Santini is perfect for sharing pre/post theatre and is inspired by classic comforts with a modern twist. Our kitchen is open late 7 days a week to make sure you can dine at anytime. To drink: think ice cold martinis, bourbon sours on tap & fan fave house canned cocktails, hyper local craft beers & a small but mighty wine list focused on classic and organic styles. The vibe is motel chic meets mid-century modern and once night sets in the candles are lit and the room transforms .. think old school piano bar meets 70's lounge. We host live music featuring local musicians EVERY weekend. Saturdays are local good time bands, Sundays are musician focused folk, jazz, singer songwriter, & mondays pianists jingle the keys on the vintage piano. We can't wait to host you!

Went for Valentine’s Day and ordered 6 dishes, which ended up being only slightly more than the two of us could polish. Drinks were amazing, food was incredible, and the vibe of the whole place felt warm and exciting.

This was our first time at Starlight. Food was delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The overall ambiance was welcoming, cosy and the perfect place to visit for a relaxed, special evening out.

Absolutely one of our favourite places to go to in Stratford. Love the food, the vibe, the wait staff and the entertainment.

Good spot if you just want a tapas style evening. Not the kind of environment if you want to have an evening of conversation. The sound of music could be turned down a notch. It was a good evening regardless.

First the negatives: the booking process was atrocious; very challenging to navigate the NYE special and came across as rather restrictive. The “energetic” music was far too loud for pleasant conversation. However the positives outweighed these, the team service was very good and our server attentive. We ordered both NYE items and from their main menu and all was very good and we felt good value for our money. Happy to return in the future.

I attended for a musical event and the ambiance was super. Service was fabulous even though they were very busy. Really nice cocktails.
