First visit and will definitely be back ! A great cosy country pub with ambience great food atmosphere and service.Nothing too much for Matt and his staff to help you with throughout our visit. You are made so welcome , running late we called to tell them but got reassured to don’t panic and come. We didn’t want to leave but had a 70 minute drive home but will be back Matt !

Warm hospitality with a welcoming, cozy ambience. The T-Bone steak was fabulous - tasty & tender along with all the accompaniments. A Veggie roast (not on the menu) shows just how flexible Matt & Yvonne are in catering for all tastes. The food and service here never disappoints. Absolutely first class.

A wonderful evening at the Shilton Rose & Crown. The food was amazing (lamb shank and lobster bisque risotto). The staff were lovely and very attentive and the beer was excellent. Can’t fault it!

Really nice place. The chap hosting was really friendly and attentive, service was good…food took a little while to come but was cooked fresh and was extremely tasty.
A little luxury at lunch time. Highly recommend it.
Maybe a little light on children’s options but it didn’t matter because the host gave us some options that worked for us.
