Curated by Aaron Taylor, Atlas Restaurant Group’s Corporate Chef & Chef Partner in this concept, the menu puts steak in the spotlight with over 11 cuts from Chicago-based meat purveyor Meats by Linz. The Ruxton will serve a mix of wet and dry aged prime cuts of Black Angus Beef, as well as dry aging Long Island Duck and Bison from Virginia’s New Frontier Farm in-house. To complement the steak options, seasonal shellfish and seafood entrees will be available including dover sole, Maryland rockfish, whole live lobster, king salmon, Chilean sea bass and more.

Our server Noelle was excellent, as was the food and wine. The high noise was rather obtrusive at times, especially when trying to hear her helpful explanations about the menu and wine list. Otherwise a very positive experience.

The food was good but the service (from front desk to waiter) was sub par, especially at this price point. Both the hostess and the waiter acted as if we were bothering them by simply being there, to be fair. The waiter did get better throughout the meal, but set the tone for a not great experience at the start. Music was so loud you viiidnt have a conversation across the table The woman at the table next to us was having a full conversation on FaceTime out loud that we had to endure for more than half of her meal We were disappointed in the experience as a whole.

I recently dined at Ruxton Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience! The highlight of the evening was the fried lobster tail—cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and succulent meat that melted in my mouth. Paired with a perfectly seared steak, it was a match made in culinary heaven. The flavors were out of this world, and each bite left me craving more. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, enhancing our dining experience with their recommendations. I can't recommend Ruxton enough for anyone looking to indulge in an extraordinary meal. I can't wait to return!

If you want to go to a steakhouse with great ambience, good food and excellent service The Ruxton is a good choice. Definitely pricey. I will say we had a reservation for 6:30pm on a Saturday eve and we were not seated until 7pm. I get that the intent may be to get us to gravitate to the bar, however, we did not want to do that. In my opinion, we should have been seated much closer to our reservation time. Restaurants want customers to respect reservation times I feel they should honor the time as well. I understand that it is out of their control how long a table is occupied, etc. but a well run restaurant understands this and plans accordingly. All in all The Ruxton is a good restaurant and we enjoyed our meal.

Our server Brian was a 10/10! The food was AMAZING and the music was such a vibe! My friends and I enjoyed ourselves and will for sure be back.

The food and service were amazing! The only reason I’m giving ambiance a lower score is because the bathroom was freezing, there was no tp and the water only ran cold. Otherwise it was a great experience!
