I have been to the Rickey a few times, and while usually the service is good, I was really disappointed this time (in Dec 2024). We ordered food that never came—they just forgot about it entirely, and since they never came by after bringing our drinks, we were finished before we could ask about it. The seating areas are a little cramped, but we had an extra stool at our table where we had placed our coats. A staff member came and asked if he could take the stool for another group, and he asked us if he could move our coats to another chair, in a corner near us, and he did. A little while later, a different staff member came by and told us we couldn’t have our coats there—where the other staff member had put them in the first place. They were obviously more worried about our coats than about getting our order right. There was also a woman who was filming video, using a bright light attachment on her phone. She kept walking back and forth around the lounge filming, the entire time we were there, shining the light in people’s faces and really killing the atmosphere. A few people complained, and she apologized, but she didn’t stop. When we finally saw our waiter and asked for our check, we waited for it almost fifteen minutes, and ultimately we had to ask the hostess for it. They seemed really disorganized, and not especially polite, which is not what I had experienced on other visits. The drinks themselves were fine, but not as well made as I’ve had there before, either. I think it’s coming off of my list of go-to places at this point.

This is a great spot for drinks. The drinks and small bites were excellent. Service started off great but once they filled up service slowed down significantly. We waited over a half hour to receive drinks after ordering. Definitely understaffed when we visited to handle the crowd that arrived while there and it was early in the evening for pre dinner drinks. Other than that I would recommend.

The pomegranate Ricky lived up to its hype, the ice cube is a cool aesthetic piece. I truly enjoyed the wide selection of Scothes and Whiskey

The place is wonderful, the servers are all great, the drinks and food are outstanding and delicious. Everything is top notch.

We recently visited Ricky Bar, and overall, it was a great experience! The decor and room setup were fantastic, providing a chic and stylish atmosphere. The lighting was a bit low, but I understand it was part of the ambiance they were aiming for. Our party size actually increased, but we were still able to comfortably mingle, sit, drink, and enjoy ourselves without feeling cramped. The space was perfect for socializing and having a good time. I would definitely recommend Ricky Bar for anyone looking for a cozy yet lively spot to hang out! OH! The Steak Skewers and drinks were awesome!

Great little gem!! Our waiter was so accommodating and so charming. I tried a martini with vodka, strawberries,balsamic and crushed peppercorns. When I voiced some hesitation, he said he’d bring me a different drink if I didn’t like it. Well, I loved it. Subtle but unique flavors. Prompt service…great for pre-Broadway lounging.

Super close to Carnegie Hall which is why we chose it… but we’ll be back for beautifully crafted cocktails and excellent bar food selections, not to mention great service and vibe!
