Es vertritt die Philosophie des „Das müssen Sie probieren!“ Das bekannte Restaurant in der St Martins Lane wurde frisch renoviert und serviert Ihnen nun eine neue Karte und einen eigenwilligen, aber dennoch bezaubernden Innenbereich. Der in Kuba geborene Küchenchef Luis Pous erweitert die ursprüngliche kulinarische Vision von Jeffrey Chodorow mit experimentellen Kombinationen und neuen Varianten alter Spezialitäten. Pous wurde vom kulturellen Miteinander im Chinatown von Havanna inspiriert und interpretiert asiatisch-beeinflusste kubanische Speisen für ein modernes Publikum mit anspruchsvollem Gaumen. Arrived at 5.45pm for a pre-theatre dinner. We had asked to be in a warm spot, which had been noted and was achieved. We went for the 2 course pre-theatre menu to ensure there was no rush. The food was delicious, nice choice of wines, servers were charming and efficient, and ambience very pleasant. (Minor gripe that the music was a little too loud for our taste.) We would have had time for dessert, but were trying to be good!

Ordered food at 7pm with clear instructions that we needed to leave at 7.40pm. No food had arrived by 7.47pm so we had to leave for the theatre with nothing to eat.

Beautiful ambience, food is fine but portions are really small though. Time management and service overall was bad (food arrived 10 min before we had to leave for our performance, though we’ve advised how much time we had before ordering, a few dishes for our company of 7 have been forgotten all together.
