   Did the tasting menu with the wine paring… we were blown away. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Service, ambiance, everything was just about perfect. We will definitely be back!

   Exceptional and attentive service and wonderful food. Was a great birthday outing even for a local with lots of great options. Will definitely return for a non special event

   We thought the Valentine's menu was tastfully prepared and served. One dish in particular was oversalted for my taste. The portion sizes were miniscule, particularly for the entree. The dessert was delicious, very inventive, and surprising.

   Overall we were sat right away. Waiter arrived quickly but things came out very slow. They even gave us a free glass of wine for the wait. Restaurant want overly crowded. Food came out lukewarm. My pasta was not fully cooked. I wouldn’t even say al dente. Harder than that. Spouses risotto was cool. Appetizers were fine. Nothing stood out. Menu was somewhat limited and I guess we were expecting more. Restaurant itself was beautiful and the atmosphere was fun. That was the best part.

   Very expensive for what you get. Great pizza and Burger offered at the bar but not the restaurant makes no sense to me. Open it up and you’ll have more business.

   We live less than 10 minutes from Yountville and have enjoyed dinner at a number of the restaurants along Washington St. The Restaurant at North Block did not disappoint. Being it was our first visit my wife and I each made sure we ordered different. I started with the charred octopus which was charred perfectly and went well with the squash. and my wife had the lobster bisque which while it missed the mark of the bisque she loved from her youth it came very close. For our mains we had the Saffron Risotto and the Cacio E Pepe and loved both of them. Luckily, my wife wasn't too hungry so I got to enjoy a few extra bites. For dessert we had ice cream which was just that ice cream, but it was the perfect finish to a rainy evening. The high ceilings made the room feel big which was a bit of a drawback, however this was offset by the service which was friendly and attentive. We will return.

    Made reservations to celebrate mine and my husband’s wedding anniversary. We came and were automatically greeted by the host, who was very pleasant. The restaurant itself is beautiful, very intimate, perfect for date night or any kind of celebration. The service is top notch. It was a rainy day, and the hostess went out of their way to take our coats and umbrellas. Food was spectacular. You have the choice to order from their regular menu or tasting menu but we decided to order from their regular menu. We started off with the lobster bisque and sourdough bread with butter. Delicious! My husband ordered the risotto with scallops and I ordered the duck. Super delicious. Ended with a budino with dessert, Italian custard. Perfection! Our server was great, he even gave us complimentary wine for our anniversary. But we also ordered 2 different cocktails, which were great. Overall, it was one of the best experiences that we’ve had and we’d for sure go again!
