Located in the heart of the East Village at the top of the Moxy East Village The Ready is an all-season rooftop oasis perfect for after-work drinks, weekend revelry and private events. Collegial yet refined, The Ready at Moxy East Village feels like an escape from the New York daily grind. The eclectic décor (string lights, a vine-strewn mural, a bar made of plastic milk crates) and unique food and beverage offerings create a relaxed rooftop experience—like a coveted New York City backyard. The retractable glass walls and roof allow for all-season panoramic views of the East Village and beyond.

We are currently accepting reservations up to 30 days in advance but walk-ins are welcome pending availability.

The venue is strictly 21+. Valid ID required for entry.

Shabby Chic gestylte Rooftopbar mit Selbstbedienungscharakter und überteuerten Getränken in Aludosen. Wer das mag ist dort aufgehoben, ansonsten gibt es weitaus bessere Baren in New York.

Felipe and the bartender on Sunday were extraordinary, attentive, and professional. As a Location Scout for film and television. I would recommend the Tao Group due to the exceptional service that I received today.

Not sure why this is considered a great rooftop bar. You order on an app that doesn’t work at all well. So impersonal and ineffective. And the drinks are so weak, we couldn’t tell which was the lemonade and which was the margarita. And the drink ‘with liquor’ was $20. Go somewhere else.

Went for a birthday party and had a reservation for 10 ppl at 9:30pm on a Friday. Was extremely disappointed to learn too late the bar actually closed at 11pm, with last call around 10:30. I wish this would have been communicated to our party.

Very limited drink selection, view is restricted, plants cover many windows. Overall, probably not worth travelling across the city for this location, yet it was listed in some website as a top 40 rooftop bars in NYC.

Went really early so was empty. Not much ambience. Had difficulty scanning the menu and ordering but staff was very helpful and let me order direct. Service is good.

I indicated that I was celebrating birthday. Not only they ignored that part, but when my friend asked for a birthday candle to put in our desert they said they did not have any. Also not even once say happy birthday. Very unfortunate that I chose that place to celebrate my day.
