A beautiful location steps away from the historic Christchurch Priory, The Priory is a stylish French bistro style cafe & restaurant. Serving up delicious meals, cocktails, coffees & wine, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming atmosphere and an experience for guests that feels special every time. We are a small intimate restaurant with a really close-knit team, so you're likely to end up chatting with our chef or Will, the owner.

Book a table for bottomless brunch at The Priory. At £35 per person, enjoy any item from our brunch menu along with as much fizz, mimosas, belinis, or non alcoholic fizz as you can drink in 2 hours. Available from 11am - 2pm. With plenty of vegetarian options, alongside a our classic cooked breakfast, there's something for everyone.

Enjoy a classic Sunday roast with all the trimmings at the cosiest spot in town! Choose from sirloin of beef, vegetarian wellington, and a variety of guest roasts (often Lamb and Chicken). All served with fluffy Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, a variety of house veg and rich gravy. We always have a few light bite/starter options, too. Wash it all down with a glass of red and enjoy the ambience. Prices range from £22 for our homemade wellington, to £28 for lamb.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here while visiting the area. My wife had the camembert, coq au vin then the apple and cinnamon crumble which were all fabulous. My mushrooms on bruschetta, Sirloin steak and espresso ice cream were all prepared perfectly and were delicious. The portion sizes were generous. All our hosts were incredibly helpful and attentive and the atmosphere in the upstairs room was lovely and relaxing.

Really liked the vibe of this French feeling bar/restaurant. Decor makes it feel like you've walked into a bistro in Paris but all the staff were very British. Service was excellent - attentive and friendly but not intrusive. We were seated in the main part of the restaurant which also doubles as a small bar. A few locals were enjoying a glass of wine and a chat next to us and gave it a warm and welcoming feel. Food was excellent. I had the special Steak and Ale pie and it was very very good. Large portions left us unable to try the desserts so felt like decent value for money. Its set just next to the famous Priory (church) in Christchurch at the very end of the High Street so a little tucked away but well worth finding. Would certainly go again.
