An elegant refined, a la carte restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden, The Petersham is a culinary oasis in a fast-paced urban environment.
During spring and summer months, tables flow out on to Floral Court, giving diners the opportunity to eat and drink al fresco.
Respecting the Slow Food philosophy of Good, Clean and Fair, the menu offers simple, seasonal and sustainable food with a focus on quality ingredients and Italian flavours. Suppliers have been carefully selected during food buying trips, with family owned and run Haye Farm supplying poultry, eggs and organic fruit and vegetables to all Petersham Nurseries restaurants. Drawing inspiration from Boglione’s Richmond family home, Petersham House, the interiors demonstrate a charming elegance.

    Strange one. Should have been great but wasn’t. Risotto served very quickly (too quickly) as a starter. Slightly strange texture. Reheated? Dover sole drowning in butter. Potatoes greasy. Overall a bit disappointing.

    Dinner was exactly what we were hoping for. Perfectly fresh and really delicious. The space is lovely and the lighting warm and soft. Really a pleasure. Thank you.

    Lovely quiet place to meet up for lunch. Fresh, beautifully presented food - all seasonal. Slightly expensive but worth the treat!

    Giuseppe was fantastic such a pleasure eating in your wonderful restaurant food exceptional and wine choice second to none ! We were so impressed with the passion of your team as mentioned above Giuseppe a sense of theatre and fun to our lunchtime dining experience but never loosing site of his professional position .     Stunning .. we had the most fantastic time at The Petersham, Covent Garden. We were there for a friend’s birthday and we treated beautifully by the exceptional Giuseppe (Manager) and his team. I would also like to say how excellent our waiter, Hardik was too. What a gentleman. We will most definitely be back.

    Food is delicious but very small portions. Ambiance is good but staff are very aggressive with their service, just wanting to sell you the most expensive wine and trying to sell you more and more dishes and drinks all the time. It’s as if they get a commission on everything they sell to you! Very expensive restaurant for the quantities you get. It was not like this two years ago. I will not return anymore I’m afraid.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Petersham’s. The service was lovely. Everyone was gracious and spoke to us as if we were the only guests. The meal was terrific. I had the oysters and the glazed rib. The oysters were fabulous and the glazed rib was like eating butter. The rum baba afterward was excellent! The meal was so enjoyable and I would highly recommend a visit here. The flowers everywhere just added to the experience. Well done!

    Overall a great restaurant but service was a bit lacking from waiters in a mostly empty restaurant at lunch time.
