Recently included in the 100 Best Local Restaurants 2024 compiled by the Good Food Guide, The Pearl is a charming British restaurant in Prestwich Village serving beautifully presented dishes in a relaxed, intimate dining room. Independent and family-owned, we work with like-minded producers and growers from the British Isles on a simple and delicious menu and let the ingredients speak for themselves.

Join us every Sunday from 2pm for our Sunday Lunch menu, you will have the option of 2/3 courses from our set menu at £37/45.

2 courses £45 | 3 courses £55 Throughout December we will be preparing a delightfully seasonal 2/3 course set menu on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Guests will be presented with beautifully prepared British, high-welfare, native breed meat dishes, allotment vegetables and locally sourced produce, served in the cosy, intimate dining room of The Pearl. Cocktails, carafes and English sparkling will flow along with wine specials to pair. And don't forget to ask for the Little Red Book if you're after a special bottle to toast to the occasion. What an amazing restaurant. Serving 5* food right on our door step in Prestwich. Sam the owner was very accommodating as we only eat white fish and vegetarian options and he sorted it out so we could have cod. The place is small but cosy. Only 26 covers. The place was full but there was a great cosy atmosphere. It was buzzing. The service was excellent. It wasn't cheap but we were there celebrating our friends birthday. It is worth the cost. We would really love to return in the future.

I really like this place. It’s very welcoming and the staff are both friendly and attentive. Today was our first visit for Sunday Lunch and the Restaurants second week serving the aforementioned. Our starters of Gin Cured Salmon and Pressed Mallard were excellent in presentation and taste..couldn’t fault. We both had Roast Beef which on the whole was disappointing……Beef was tough and chewy, roast potatoes were tasteless and dry…….vegetables were all good and cooked to perfection. So, had this been the Restaurant’s first day and not just their first day serving Sunday Lunch I wouldn’t be writing this………But it wasn’t and that’s why we were left underwhelmed.

Came for the first Sunday lunch…..The food was perfect……especially the beetroot starter ! I will be coming back just to have that again! Really friendly personal service aswell. Lucky to have such a gorgeous little place in Prestwich

We enjoyed a fantastic meal in a wonderful setting, where the atmosphere was vibrant, and the staff were incredibly attentive. Whether you’re a food lover, a connoisseur of fine drinks, or simply looking for a memorable evening out, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can’t recommend it enough and will definitely be back!

My husband and I dined here 05/10 It really felt like a special occasion, the menu was delightful, the anchovies to start and the venison was outstanding, my husband a fussy eater enjoyed the sirloin for main, and the omelette. The ambience was cosy and intimate, the service bespoke. I highly recommend this charming little restaurant in Prestwich, which in its self is a great night out. The pricing reflects the local sourced ingredients, my only criticism would be the bread rolls where expensive and 4 in a portion too many, maybe just one as a gesture or other nibbles to diners would be a great touch.

We just love it here! It’s such a lovely place to come for dinner. The food is always incredible. The service is excellent and there is fantastic attention to detail. Totally recommend!
