   To whom it may concern, My wife and I visited the Pearl this past Sunday, 3.08.25. We had never been to the Pearl but given everyone's recommendations and us visiting most popular places in the city we felt we had to come! Asher W. was our server for the evening and he seemed to have took care of us to the best of his ability. (Hold for later) We started out with cocktails and apps, the smoked whitefish and spoonbread were great, along with trying their baked clams and baked oysters; or at least we thought that's what we were getting! It turned out the kitchen made a mistake and brought us two orders of the baked oysters. (To which Asher mentioned and told us that due to the mistake we would just have an extra order for us to have). Minor inconvenience but overall still happy at this point because we are told it won't be billed. Onto entree's we enjoyed the Arctic Char and Gulf Snapper, both were well made and presented. The dessert was also great, I enjoyed the Oreo pie and my wife enjoyed their Elvis pudding cup. Now's to the disappointing part... I have my receipt and this afternoon can post if needed. We were charged around 36 (clams) and 20-ish (oysters), I didn't think of it at the time of paying but after getting home and seeing we were charged for 3 orders of the baked oysters and 2 orders of the baked clams I was upset. Baffled as to what would lead to such a "error" as to when he rang everything up in the end. Generally when a restaurant of statue makes a mistake you see things come off the bill not things added. I genuinely don't understand why this was done to us, and I would hope it wasn't just to drive up the total for a larger tip or to take advantage of a younger couple. I cannot deny that I am left with a sour taste given we felt the food was good but to find out after the fact that you were overcharged it doesn't make me feel like I would like to return. I reviewed the menu after the fact and saw 6.66 (oysters) and 18.00 (clams) online, upsetting.

   Visiting the Pearl is always a pleasure. The food was amazing. Staff was on point. Great spot for brunch!!

   Sat down and were told our server would be with us shortly. Only 4 other tables sat around us, but no greeting, waters, nothing for 15 min. We let the hostess know we would not be staying any longer. If you are going to charge 4 star prices you should at the very least not make your customers feel ignored. I was excited to show my husband a new place but that was definitely not a good look. Disappointed.

   We ordered all the carbs… - Biscuit Donuts were delicious, but son said it’d be great to have more of that cream cheese icing. - Chicken & Waffles was my son’s choice, but modified to regular syrup & butter. He said it was great & finished most of it. - I had the lemon blueberries waffles. They were tasty, but would love more lemon flavor because it was very subtle. - I ordered an espresso martini, but it wasn’t my favorite. I’d probably order something different next time, even though those are my usual go-to.

   The food is excellent, although the very dramatic tile floor might be an issue walking on for anyone with Vertigo or depth of field issues. I have Ataxia and had to look away when walking on it.

   Fabulous happy hour! Every dish was good. Only disappointing item was the mule cocktail. Didn’t taste right

   Food, service and restaurant were great. Side portions were the smallest I have ever seen. Cup of soup and Side salad were in a cup the size of a thimble.

    We enjoyed celebrating my birthday at the Pearl! Our waiter was very attentive and our food was delicious!
