   Overall worth the trip on A lovely day on y husbands birthday Travelled from Glasgow. Food average and prob I ordered the wrong thing as too much cold spinach made poached eggs cold. My husband’s eggs Benedict was small and eggs a bit cold. He has add to the order was still hungry Ambience was decent but constant queues with door left open was annoying. Website says Clearly dates can’t book same day but clearly you can. The waiter was pleasant enough but scruffy - skip cap is bad etiquette I think the Staff were too busy. We asked for the bill and no one said it was Til Job we had to work That out. Not impressive. Only 3 stars for service. I booked for my husbands birthday and to be honest I won’t be back

   Lovely breakfast/brunch with friend. Food, service excellent. Friendly welcome and were moved table on our request. We were in early doors before a lot of people but if I hade to complain it would be the room temperature was on the cool side. Overall great, first visit will deffo be back. Thank you.

   Over all good experience, the food was good (afternoon tea for 2) coffee was nice. Service was friendly throughout our visit, although the venue got busy before we left and there was a noticeable different in service speed, but that’s to be expected! Would visit again

   Fantastic food, but got asked to leave after an hour and 20mins because they needed the table. There were at least 3 other free tables available (at least one of them was for two people so could have easily swapped). Had to leave our coffees and were rushed out. Not the service I expected when we spent £50. Did share this feedback with the waiters and were given a lame excuse of they couldn’t swap around the tables etc. it is normal to give people 2 hours to eat. Unacceptable and puts me off returning despite the delicious food!

   After reading so many reviews we knew we had to try The Little Bakery. 1st our coffees were served after our food, I don’t know if they were short staffed or walk ins to take out are a priority but it shouldn’t happen. Our food was served at different times. Again this shouldn’t happen, my husbands would have been cold if I asked him to wait for mine, it meant he was eating when I wasn’t and vice versa. We went out to have food together not to watch the other eat. Glad we tried it for ourselves but unlikely to make a point of returning.

   Very disappointed, food was burnt and tasteless. Super disappointed had to ask for tap water multiple times and was given our food with no cutlery had to ask for it which is fine but it took a while. I brought my kids but the music was loud and the swearing wasn’t appropriate music choice for a cafe.

    Have visited the little bakery on numerous accounts, always really enjoyed the atmosphere & the lovely food. However on this occasion we were slightly disappointed by the service we received from one particular individual. They were not dressed appropriately, yawned in our faces multiple times, did not greet us or make us feel welcomed and also got our order wrong despite clearly stating what we would like. I’ve visited the cafe when they have been packed full on a busy saturday and have still received great service & food from the rest of the lovely team so it was disappointing on this one occasion to have our experience fully changed by just one individual letting the rest of their team down. This will not stop me returning due to my previous positive experiences outweighing this one, but this may stop new customers coming back if this is the first impression they’re given.
