    So often nowadays Sunday lunch out can be a disappointment, and definitely a waste of money, not so the Lesters Arms. Food ,service and value for money all excellent and I have already booked to go back. Can’t wait.

    Tried the bottomless brunch, it was great value. Great service, great food , we just love the Lester Arms .

    We arrived early sat at bar. Waited about 10 mins for someone to take our drinks order, but they were busy so we understand. Taken up to our table 15 mins layer than we booked,but again no problem busy Sunday, we understand. Then we ordered our food, food was beautiful, fresh and cooked perfectly. We asked for water jug, none arrived , we asked again, none arrived.we asked again after apologies it was duly sent to our table. We asked for Mustard, none arrived, we asked another server, none arrived. We asked again finally !. Then we were asked do you want to see dessert menilu, we said absolutely yes!! None arrived, we waited again, nothing arrived, then a server asked us to vacate our table and sit in the bar as we had finished our meal!! We explained we were waiting for dessert order to be taken! She duly bought us menus and 10 mins layer our order was taken. The dessert was perfect worth the wait. The service had been very poor sadly but the food made up for it.

    Other than not being given a menu on being seated at our table and having to ask for cutlery when our desserts were brought out - everything else was excellent. Could not fault the food; beautiful and cooked to perfection.

    This was as our first visit . We visited on Sunday evening, we used the on line booking facility. Very charming decor Clean and spacious Varied menu options Well presented Food was amazing we all chose differently and every was perfect . Plenty of vegetables to go round too There is a large outside seating area too, which with the right weather will be perfect. We will definitely go again.

    Our visit to The Lesters Arms yesterday evening was an absolute delight. The food was excellent, as was the service and the ambience. I am very pleased indeed to have found a venue where the dining experience lives up to its reputation and will certainly be booking again; if only to order the Passion Fruit Cheesecake which is an experience in itself. Thank you.

    Excellent food cooked with fresh ingredients and served on hot plates. Would highly recommend Lunch Menu. Lovely staff, lovely ambience. Looking forward to my next visit.
