Second time in a week. The food and service were outstanding. Leigh Anne was flawless with our larger group. I can’t stop thinking about this restaurant.

A truly wonderful experience. The staff were so pleasant and engaging, including the chef and managers. The food and drinks were unique and delivered very timely. I think they are in their first month of operation and will only get better as time goes on.

Stefan was an ideal server, not too aggressive, fully informed, and attentive. The old fashions barely filled half of the glass and that included a large ice cube in each. It looked like we had asked to split one. The burrata dish was quite tasty. The ceviche would have been better had the snapper been diced into smaller pieces. The crab fried rice had little flavor and the crab was hard to find among the rice. The lamb lacked luster. The tzatziki sauce would have made it better. The evening wasn’t a complete bust since the churros were delicious.

One of the best meals I have I had in Austin. The tiradito, gnocchi, cabbage, Indian puffy tacos, and the mushrooms were all amazing. One of the best red fish I have had ever. The drinks and service were all top tier. Joseph was amazing. Run don’t walk to this new Austin gem.

The food is overpriced for the portions you get. The flavor profile is unique on alot of dishes some are a little overwhelming and others are spot on. Atmosphere is very nice and good for personal dates or large groups.

Food was just ok. Portions were about average. Pretty pricey for the quality. Mixed drink was good. Ambiance was nice. But the dessert was definitely the best part. I got the mousse. Not very big but very tasty.

My experience at The Kitchen in Austin, TX was somewhat mixed. When my date and I arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff who had noted from our reservation that we were on a date. They thoughtfully provided us with flash cards to help us get to know each other better, which was a nice touch. We were seated promptly, and our waiter was quick to arrive, both friendly and well-informed about the menu. We started with the Carrots as an appetizer, which were surprisingly the best I've ever had. My date chose the Grilled Oysters, which were also excellent. The atmosphere was delightful, with the owner personally mingling with guests, adding to the welcoming vibe. However, the meal took a disappointing turn when my main course, the Denver Steak which I ordered medium, arrived significantly undercooked. Some parts were not just medium-rare, but outright rare with cold centers, which was quite a letdown after the promising start. Despite this culinary misstep, the overall experience at The Kitchen was pleasant. That said, I'll likely only return if they can ensure their steaks are properly cooked in the future.

Food was amazing! The gnocchi was awesome and the desserts were spectacular! The only unfortunate part was the service. Servers not really attentive at all. Only real interaction was taking our order where they tried to sell us on so many things on the menu when we hadn’t even asked about suggestions. We had waited a ton to get our order taken because the server was focused on other tables that were larger and we only wanted to order what we decided on. It felt like we were trying to be pressured into buying additional items to order to make our bill higher at the end of the night. Not cool. I would give this place a second chance with the hope of better service. The food and establishment itself was beautiful. Still had a great time with friends.

Had a wonderful experience. The food was tasty and eye popping. The presentation and thoughtfulness of the nutritional value was superb. Complex sauces with spot on flavors and vibrant colors all the way around. Service was perfect, not overbearing but not too stand offish. The entire team worked seamlessly together. They even accommodated some specific request of what dishes we’d like to eat together! I don’t know if it was where we sat specifically but the noise level was low despite a full house so we could actually enjoy the table conversation! Definitely recommend.
